I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but doesn't it always seem like anytime Hossa is on the ice he is double covered. Even if he doesn't have the puck there are always two pens close by just in case he gets too. I think it's part of their game plan to not let Hossa do anything and that's why he hasn't been producing in the series.

How can anyone blame the Refs for any of the Wings' losses?

Because the Pens seem to get away with almost anything. Slashes, cross checks, even 6 men on the ice. It would be nice to have the rules enforced once in a while. I'm not saying the ref's are completely biased. They make terrible calls on all sides and then let the legit ones go. The ref's are just terrible. And ok maybe a little biased. -

Quick question. Can the other 3 refs on the ice overturn a call by the one ref? If so, why didn't they? If not, then that should be changed. And also, intent to blow the whistle lol. Couldn't he have "intended" to blow the whistle as soon as the puck was dropped? How can they not see a problem with this.

You might want to add a part about how the goal last year was nullified against Dallas because Holmstrom's "butt" was in the crease. The Wings always seem to be on the bad side about terrible calls.

If anyone listened to Karsch and Anderson this morning, it's exactly like they said. A TE is a LUXURY pick. It's something you pick when you have a solid offense to build around. The Lions have far from that. And besides, their defense is still abysmal. If they would have gone Curry/Manaluga (sp?), our defense would be exponentialy better and we might stand a chance of winning 6, 7 ,8. maybe more games . Now, I see them winning 1 if they are lucky against STL.

I was expecting game 4 to be a bust, but I was pleasently surprised. It was intense. Columbus really stepped up their game. If they had played like that for the entire series then things might have played out very differently.
