Their D will be a lot better, they added a proven offensive threat and a young guy in Brule who was touted (Past tense) to be a top 6 forward. And you do realize they have no D, the difference between the Top 5 Tampa contracts and the top 5 Detroit contracts is that in those contract Detroit has 2 legit # 1 defenseman, and when Z gets signed they will have 2 legit # 1 scorers/centers/forwards as well. It is not that the money is astronomical and putting them in the pinch, as I said in another thread you have to sign Vinny, like Z, what ever he asks for you have to give, however they have a lot of money tied up in offense and offense only. Sure they have Dan Boyle, but he is overpaid.
