I love how some of you think that the fear of getting punched in the face will stop a hockey player from doing anything. How many players get face washed, forearmed, or punched in a scrum every game. I think a Stuart and Kronwall pairing on paper makes no sense what so ever!!!! Why put two guys who are hitters on the same line, it makes no sense to me (says the guy behind a keyboard)! The fact that it is one of the best d pairings in the post season is just flat out DUMB!!!!!!!! They have combined for this stat line 1g 16a 17 pts and a +25 in 18 games (17 for Stuart)! Just for comparison's sake Lids and Ralf: 4g 17a 21 pts and a +15 in 18 games

How about Ozzie sticking his arm out in front of Sykora, you mean to tell me that wasn't intentional. I am not saying Ozzie is a diver and whiner, of course I didn't say that about Crosby or anyone other than Floppa, but he did help that call. Was it smart on his behalf, YES!! Is it part of the game, YES!! Does it make a diver/cheap player/ etc. no, unfortunately embellishing a call gets you the call. As long as it doesn't turn into Euro soccer (I am a fan before you think I am digging soccer) I am ok! I would much rather not see it happen, but more often than not the team that doesn't do it ends up on the short end of the stick, so I say good for the goose, good for the gander!

EVA, Got to disagree with you on that assessment. I think if Fluery does make the save it is not as spectacular as the effort and skill that Flip put into scoring it, however to say it was a shot he SHOULD have had is a stretch. I blame Letang on that, bad positioning and gave up the inside a little to easy to Flip, but even having said that, after Flip got position on Letang he still had to keep the puck away from MAF and then get the shot off.

Why would you want to change up the lines? This team has not even given up a goal, hell they were up 2-0 before the Pens even registered a shot. Why change a damn thing, make them change, make them play line combos that aren't their normal, if/when your team is on a tear like this I am of the opinion that you don't change a thing!!!! Even though I have not supported Maltby all year, he has been in these last 2 games and the team hasn't given up a goal. Stay with it! BTW: I said before the series Maltby should sit for Mac, Maltby looked pretty good out there!

You would have could have should have, will have exactly what it has today, no bearing on the outcome and is off base. You say Lapoint would have helped, I say he would have been a locker room cancer and this team loses in the first round. I have the same amount of evidence to back up my statement as you do yours.
