I got a reply telling me my order will ship soon, I made a point to tell them I didn't want the Cheli jersey, which if they had sent me I won't return, but they said nothing about not getting the #40. Here is the help ticket dialogue from my order:

I assume they will do like the NBA and other sports have done in the past, they will have "scheduled" TV timeouts after 16 min of play time the next stoppage (other than Icing) will be a TV time out. Whether that be Offsides, penalty, puck out of play, whatever stoppage they will find a way.

Are you serious, that was a clean hit with the recipient's chin tucked tightly to his chest. You can't blame Kopecky for being taller than Carle, even Guy said the hit was clean! If the league tries to get rid of that hit (wouldn't put it past them) that would be a bad bad move. The only way Kopecky doesn't hit him on the chin is if he ducks down about 3 inches.

They don't "Run out of Jerseys" if they are selling Cheli jerseys. It is a Red Wings jersey and they do the stitching then send it to you, I believe, correct me if I am wrong.

I just contacted them, the support guy said my order was supposed to ship 5 days ago and that he is checking on it for me. He said nothing about a change in the Jersey and mine was ordered the same day as yours. He will get back to me in 24 hours to let me know what is going on with the Jersey. When I get an email I will post what he says here.

Not that it is new news, but: AP story, go to any recap of the Wings games and you should see the same line. The fact that nobody is covering this beyond stitches makes me believe it is just that, stitches. If he had a broken bone it would be leaked some where by now!

YES, if you paid with PayPal which I hope all of you did, that is the only reason why I would buy anything from these guys. PayPal will refund your money based on unhappiness of the product you received, as long as you return the item.

My point is it is not his place to put it on the internet, people searching it on their own makes them a stalker, the poster putting the directions to his house was over stepping his bounds. I didn't call him names or belittle him for doing it, just stating my opinion that I didn't think it was his place. And the reason why people's lives are private is because other people go nosing around where they shouldn't. Lids is a human just like you or I, maybe he doesn't want the one person (of however many people read this) see that post and go there knocking for autographs. Saying he lives minutes from you, or that you know that neighborhood is a lot different than giving turn by turn directions. Better question, what was the point of giving the directions to his house. The person posted nothing other than the directions, not that he passes by everyday, not that the house is nice, just the directions. What is the point? In case some one got lost trying to find the place?

I find it funny that there is a log jam at defense but not at forward, however this team is as deep at forward as it at D.

I think my wording was confusing, I was basically saying the same thing, if Helm, Maltby, or Kopecky are going to be lucky to put up double digit points, why not have some one (Downey) in the line up that can protect the 20-30 point or more players. I still think Downey is the perfect fighter for this team (my comments in the contrite thread were about the hit itself not his playing for the team) he very rarely takes a bad penalty, doesn't fight at the face off circle just because, he is an intelligent fighter, who has no problem with his role. Mac started taking bad penalties in the post season, that in my opinion were based on him not being in shape and not being able to get his legs where his body wanted to be. If he is in better shape this year and doesn't take a lot of penalties then I see the discussion about which of the two plays.

No complaints here, I also would have accepted Maltby or Helm. (Sarcasm, tried to make a game show type joke but it is neither funny nor really that easy to pick up) Like I said the only issue I had was the numbers you were removing, replacing some one who is lucky to put up double digit points for a guy who will at least put on the foil, no loss in my opinion.

The problem I have with your big goon idea is that you are taking out 2 of the top 5 post season scorers on this team and saying wait for an injury or the post season. Well you can't expect them to all of the sudden in April be able to pick up and score goals. However if Downey or Mac were to do that, throw punches doesn't take chemistry with line mates or getting used to the pace of the game. They just walk into the lockerroom one day, see their name on the roster and put on the foil!

Not trying to offend you but he is not taking your side because your arguments have lots of holes in them. For instance Sammy may not be around 5 years down the road, even if he is not traded during the season he is a UFA at the end of the season, so in all actuallity the future means nothing in regards to this conversation. Therefore he is not impeeding Leino or Abdelkader, at worst he is giving the Wings the ability to keep these guys in GR for a year to see what they can do. You have Sammy at 37 and over the hill, he is 31 and in his prime (whether you like his ability in his prime is irrelevant). Also saying that Leino or Abdelkader could provide what Sammy does is not true and is wishfull thinking at best. Sammy is a proven 40 pt player in the NHL, has been top 6 forward (stat wise not position) on this team every year in Detroit, and last year was 3rd or 4th on the team in scoring (can't remember off of the top of my head). You are assuming that a rookie, untested rookie, is going to come in and replace what he brings to the table in his first year. You are assuming a lot and using a lot of opinion stated as fact, that is why he is disagreeing with you and not seeing your point.

The article was in a Swedish newspaper, not exactly like too many Swedes are driving distance from his house or have a clue where his community is. It is the same reason why the licence plates aren't shown, privacy. So you know for a fact that Lids is cool with you placing turn by turn directions to his house, must be nice to know the guy that well, how does the Bentley handle? Did he let you drive or did you just get a ride from him. While it may have been self righteous of me, it was pretty presumpive of you to just post how to get to his house. And oddly enough you can choose to have your name in it, which I wonder can you find Lids name in the phonebook or did he intentionally make it unlisted.

Also, I didn't take it as we were yelling at each other, just expressing opinions. Then some one reading everything post-post tells me to calm down, that always cracks me up.

I in no way shape or form and condoning it, I guess the reason I point out that he is trade able is because I was the only one who wasn't bashing him during the season(at least that is how I felt). Having said that, I feel the need to express my willingness to see him traded, so people don't think I am a flat out slappy. Sorry if that confused you, I am more saying I could see it happen more than I would see it happening last year, but worded it poorly. That is a much different tone than the other posts, however it is all a matter of opinion, and we do have different opinions. Your ability to say it is an opinion is a lot different than most people on here that say I can't see or I am deluding myself. BTW, I have no problem with Maltby being on the team, it just bothers me that he skates (no pun intended) by adding very little to the team while people bash Sammy constantly. I have plenty of faith in Holland, Babcock, and company. Either way enjoy the season and LET"S GO WINGS!!!
