I think most wings fans are looking at this the wrong way. Fine the ducks got away with some cheap shots. Lets hope they try that in game 7 so the wings can be on the PP more than they have been. Yes i would like one of the wings to beat the chit out of them, but i would rather send the ducks home with their tails between their legs. Remember the old bugs bunny cartoon? I have read that Hossa would like to stay a wing, but lets see what his tune is after the playoffs. If he has his Cup he might be looking for $$ before he retires. To keep him he would need to drop below 5M, on another team he would be pulling down 7-9M. That is a big chunk of change to pass on. I would love to watch the Wings the next couple years with two number one lines. The only way it is going to happen is if the players put the team first and the dollars second. Taking the hometown discount from Hossa and some of the guys giving up a few $ to keep him. Do you have any idea how much more hated the Wings will be with ZDH and "The Mule, Hoss and whoever is left.
