I know their not a defunct team, I said defunct LOGOS.
-
yes they are, defunct logos are the property of the NHL, and the NHL said that the new Winnipeg team was free 2 use them, they just wanted 2 not have history, or an awesome logo i guess. OR they thought, hey there is a team called the maple leafs lets put a giant one on our jersey.

medicinal marijuana could help a lot of these guys out, wayyyyy better for you that pain killers, you cant overdose, and it can help with depression, along with dealing with pain. not trying to start a political argument. Im just talking from the perspective of someone who knows people that has gone through these types of things.

Abby either needs 2 pick it up in the offensive category, or ditch the visor put on like 10 pounds, learn 2 fight better, and become an even better grinder, not an enforcer, but somone that can drop the mitts 7-9 times a year. either way im sure his career will lead him one way or the other, and he will be successful no matter which happens. As for his offensive game, it has a lot of potential he could be a 20-30 goal scorer for us at some point.

wouldnt be surprised 2 see bettman giive him a job with the league that he has no experiance for, without havingto work his way up... he could always be an ice girl???

Abby's hits usually are small grinder hits, not bone crushing hits that they show over and over. not 2 say he hasnt hada few of those, but thats prob. why some people dont see him as a big hitter. But trust me those little hits can hurt just as much as the huge open ice ones, a lot of times more, plus those little hits wear the opponent down. And in no way am i saying I dont love big open ice hits.

abby has potential physically that has yet to be unlocked, as well as offensively that he has shown flashes of.

Hockey was actually safer when it was more violent in the 80's and nineties. Line clearing brawls may look worse than a blindside hit 2 the head, but there not, ide rather see stuff like that as retribution for a team or individuals action then a dirty blindside, or from behind hits to the head. the problem now is players dont have to pay the price ON THE ICE, if they make a dirty play. Oh a fine and sitting a couple games and a fine will teach them! right? Not really, these guys have deep pockets and its a long season. on the other hand if the guy gets his ass beat everytime he steps on the ice, cuz he is dirty (matt cooke) hes not gunna last long in the league. And im not talking about a north south hits 2 the head, thats the player with the pucks fault should have had his head up. If they dis allow those hits to the head, a guy can just skate around the ice with his head down in order to protect himself from being touched. yes i know it was a bit off topic,

thats true I was gunna mention that in the post, but my boss showed up haha. The accident did f*** him over pretty bad, but I think if he had a better attitude, and was willing to spend time in GR he could have made a NHL career for himself. maybe not quite the career he could have had in the NHL before the accident, but a solid NHL career.

all this competition is great to have even if we lose him on waiver, you know guys like emmerton are seeing the signings of guys like Brunnstrom and conner, and working their ass off during the offseason and in training camp, and if they clear waivers knowing that their in the AHL ready 2 take their spot!
-
You could say that to almost any post on LGW. Thanks for the input, bud.
