Jay Bouwmeester will be one of the most highly desired player during the 2009 Summer retooling of teams, I’d hate to guess what the Wings and other NHL teams will be willing to give up to have J B on there 2009/2010 team.

Okay, agreed, Iginla would make an equally great Captain but popularity always seems to get in the way of decision-making!!

Is it because you hate Scotty and don't think he has earned the Team Canada Captain position or is it just because Scotty is now an Anaheim Ducks? However, this doesn't mean he will be Duck in the future, he is after all UFA!! What it is plays for Vancouver or even the Wings (very little chance), would you say the same thing? I really think Scotty's resume says it all, IMHO.

Even before Datsyuk's injury he had not shown up for the 2009 playoffs, starting with the Anaheim Ducks, c'mon show us your OLD self again. SCORE, show them "WHO's the BOSS"

Sometimes you’ll win and lose on being to aggressive on PK. Take a big slap shot and the puck goes off the boards/post and off to the defense to make a short-handed goal. But this should never be in their minds, go for the GOLD!! Shooting is this only way to WIN, IMHO.

Great Post from a non-wings fan. To be able to post beyond your local supported team, is a plus!! Keep posting, I really enjoyed it. I too am a hockey fan, but of course Anaheim Ducks are my team. However; I support the Western Conference teams no matter WHAT!! Go Wings in 6!!
