I think it's interesting that as a league, there is about 600 more penalties called on visiting teams then home teams. But in all honesty, I'm not surprised how many teams there are that get more penalties on the road then at home, it's part of the home ice advantage, it just happens. But it sucks to be Pit and Stl when it comes to this stat.

I got my neck broken 2 years ago playing hockey on a hit from behind and it ended my career. I am fortunate to be walking and alive since the shattered bones narrowly missed my spinal chord by about a millimeter. Hits from behind are no joke - I'm 21 and my life would have been done at 19 because some ass hole had a grudge against me for a previous play. If anything, there needs to be stricter rules about hits from behind because accidents do happen, I'm not the only one to break my neck and will not be the last.

He's got to have some type of e-mail address to send these to. I remember when that NFL official botched those calls this year he got lots of e-mails. Maybe NFL officials actually take responsibility for their calls, idk.

This really isn't that far out there to make this suggestion, but.. At Yankee Stadium, they still use the old PA voice for certain things as a recording. For example, they play his recording of "Derek Jeter" just for him. I personally don't think it would be too far out there or wrong if the Wings used Bud's "Last minute to play in this period" as a recording for years to come. I don't know about anyone else here but when I think of Bud Lynch I think of him saying that. Of course they could record any other one of his sayings and use that too.
