I agree with you, but the beauty of the Red Wings is that if this kid doesn't pan out, it really won't hurt us. We have so much depth that if he signs, then great, if not then who cares. And if he comes here, doesn't get his time and wants a trade, then he's great bait.

The entire series changes with a healthy Foppa, Smyth, Stastny, Hannan, Theodore, etc

Calgary was the last team I wanted to see. A western canada team with an obnoxiously loud crowd and hot goalie is never a good matchup for us. I just wanted Colorado b/c of the rivalry. And of course I'm worried, they just beat a good Minnesota team. It'll be a good series, I expect it to go 6 or 7
