Not to be a jerk or anything, b/c I know the future is as important as anything else - but rather then looking ahead, lets try to enjoy what we have now. Otherwise before we know it, we'll be laying on our death beds wondering where the time's gone and why we didn't enjoy it while we could. Z and Dats ain't going to be young forever, and Lidstrom won't be here for much longer as well. Enjoy it while we can, worry about 2010 when it get's here Little philosophy there for you lol

Americas Most Miserable Sports Cities I'm a big sports fan so I found this very interesting - but it also made me realize just how lucky I am to be a Detroit sports fan. I realize not everyone here on LGW is from Detroit or likes Detroit sports like I do but I've got to imagine there's a majority who does. Either way, good read.

There is a simple answer for this, and I might get scolded - but the reason is that the prices are too high for younger people, like myself, to afford to go to the games very often. The youth brings the enthusiasm which brings the chanting. Not to say that older folks won't get up and yell/scream/chant but most of the time, they don't. Only your die hards will and usually theres not enough of them. If the Wings want the Joe to be alive, lower prices. Then you'll see it rock. P.S. no offense to the older folks - I don't mean that none of you are loud, it's just that it's more likely that the younger crowd will get into the game and be louder for the better part of the game.

This is great, Him and Kronner are one hell of a duo. Plus I really hope Mac and Downey play, put them on the 4th line with Drake or Hartigan (hopefully Drake) and that would be outstanding.
