Is the game on any TV channels (whether or not your provider carries the channel) in your area? My cable provider doesn't offer NHL network, but it is available in my area so I get blacked out for those games. The blackouts are unfortunate, but they make business sense. The channels make more money on advertisements when more people watch the channel, and internet/GCL customers aren't counted in these numbers. Therefore, the blackout makes sense because it encourages more people to subsribe to and watch the channels available to them. However, the ratings companies are starting to monitor online activity, so we may see a change in the next decade (I doubt it though).

What's your location? For the US, the game last night was blacked out because it was on the NHL Network.

He had two good chances last game so it is possible. I think Abby is 'trying out' for Cleary's spot next year. He has the tools to be the Homer/Cleary type workhorse on a skilled line or play the 3rd/4th line role, and we're seeing if he can put it together. However, he and Cleary together make no sense with Dats and that line doesn't help the team as much as if Tatar would take one of their spots.

McCormick also passed through waivers. It would have been nice for Mursak to get picked up but IMO he does need more development time before being NHL ready. Hopefully he can have a strong finish to the AHL season and get an NHL spot next year.

Dorsett threw a punch at Tootoo before Tootoo threw a punch. Dorsett may have been expecting E, but he knew who he was fighting when he got punched. If Tootoo were about to fight JJ I would expect Dorsett to intercept him. E and Dorsett hadn't started fighting yet so there is no third man in.

Did a Wings get elbowed high behind the net while Tootoo was drawing that penalty? Looked like it live it there wasn't a replay.

I do too but the game is on FSN-OH here so it's blacked out on GCL. The announcers aren't nearly as bad as other teams.

Are you watching the game? Dorsett had his gloves off ready to fight E and Tootoo intercepted him. Dorsett was fighting someone and Tootoo made sure it was going to be him.
