NHL Gamecenter Live **No illegal stream discussion**
WorkingOvertime replied to WorkingOvertime's topic in General
Mine was, but NYI game is working very well for me right now- the quality is better than any illegal stream I've seen. I cannot get PIP to work though. However, using the pop-up player I can acheive the same effect. -

I'll be suprised if no one goes after Neal today. -

GDT looks great this season. It's been too long since I could post this- LGW! -
NHL Gamecenter Live **No illegal stream discussion**
WorkingOvertime replied to WorkingOvertime's topic in General
With the schedule, it is more attractive to the NHL fans for this season. It might not make sense for only watching half of the Wings games, but it starts to if you watch a lot of other teams. -

If you don't have those channels, you will be blacked out. -

I don't know about Comcast, but some of the other providers are waiting until the 19th to open registration. However, these providers are also having a free preview of CEnter Ice for the first week. -
injured Helm injures back, doubtful for season opener
WorkingOvertime replied to puckbags's topic in General
Per MLive, Helm won't suit up for the season opener. Hopefully this is a short-lived injury. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2013/01/red_wings_return_to_joe_louis.html -
If nothing else, he'll be able to step in when players go after Kronwall. From looking at the D lines, they seem setup for a relatively even amount of ES time.

Correct. I believe the blackout time is 24-48 hours. -
Gamecenter Live site now up! Confirmed at $49.99 for the season.

Assuming you keep you cable when you purchase Gamecenter, you should have access to the same games. The trade-off then becomes portability v. quality. For me, I would have to upgrade my cable package for Center Ice, so Gamecenter is an esy choice. Assuming this is an updated page, here is the info for Center Ice this year- http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/

From reading on HF, it looks like they will be. AFAIK Comcast and DirectTV are confirmed, but I do not know when sign up begins. I am waiting for Gamecenter to become available. It is rumored to be $50 for the (half) season.

Pheonix was rumored to be close to a trade yesterday. I doubt the Wings could/would pay the price for OEL or Yandle, but they do have other good defensemen.

The 11 games on NHLN-US are tough for me. I have NBCSN and I will have Gamecenter, but my cable company doesn't carry NHLN-US. The Wings have a tough schedule on paper. 7th most miles traveled and tied for most back-to-back games.

I need a prayer answered, please.....no toot-toot whistles.
WorkingOvertime replied to HOCKEY MATTERS's topic in General
I'm not a big fan of the whistles. I'd rather the fans go crazy when he makes a big hit, scores, fights, etc. than blow the whistles. When I've been to games in Nashville, the whistles weren't louder than cheering, but they were just loud enough to be annoying. -
Harvard vs. Boston College on NBC Sports Network right now.
WorkingOvertime replied to Uniblab's topic in General
There was a Notre Dame game on NBCSN a few weeks ago. There probably aren't many midwest games on NBCSN because Big Ten Network has many of those games. -
Awesome.

Jones has made some big mistakes in this tournament for USA. Similarly, Hamilton hasn't impressed me much compared to his hype.

Callahan with a draw in a fight. He started well but lost his balance and took a few as he was down.
