I've heard NBCSN is playing the game on tape delay today. I'm not sure if there is another avenue to see the game live one cable.

NBCSN is showing all of the US games I believe.

If nothing else, the announcer(s) is interesting.

Other than this season, Abby has spent most of his career at center. I'd like to see him center a scoring third line with Tatar. When Abby has been at center, his linemates have generally been terrible offensively (May, Homer, Emmerton) Further, his points per ES TOI are similar to Helm. Abby can create with good players, while Helm creates plays himself. For that reason, IMO Helm is the perfect grind line center. Him, Tootoo/Prust, and Miller would be an excellent line. Cleary- Abby- Tatar and Miller- Helm- Prust/Tootoo would be two great third/fourth lines- I'd like to see each get the same amount of ice time.

Prust and Gaustad are likely to be re-signed by their current teams. Tootoo will likely be a free agent though.

I'd be fine with Semin (not signed until 35+) if Mule is traded.

I'd rank them Prust, Tootoo, Moen, Gaustad, and Glass. Boll would be excellent, but he wouldn't be free. If Dorsett is only a little more (through a trade vs. paying for Boll via RFA), I would prefer him. Prust has had a great past two years and he would fit in well with the Wings fourth line. Tootoo, while unpopular here, has shown that he can do everything expected from a 4th-liner, with the exception of being a great PK'er.

I think he should be given the opportunity the be a third line winger. The Wings haven't had a scoring third line in a few years, and he would fit that mold well. Assuming no signings, I'd like to see. Flip- Dats- Bert Nyquist- Z- Mule Tatar- Abby- Cleary Miller- Helm- Eaves Mursak I know a lot here see Helm as the third line center, but I think he and Miller are two-thirds of an excellent fourth line. I'd role those four lines every game in almost any situation. Thus, the fourth and third lines would hopefully see an equal amount of ice time. To answer the pole, I think he should but I don't know if he will.

Giroux's shift was amazing.

IMO 10-15 would have been sufficient. The hit wasn't too bad, but he has a long history of these types of hits.

Can you proxy out of country for the playoffs? I believe all US accounts are blacked out.

I think I'm going to have to give in to cable next year. I want to give the NHL money but I also want to watch all games. Luckily NBCSN is on the basic teir here now, so that with GameCenter Live will get me all of the game.

His VLC had been crashing more recently. Hopefully it is a fixable problem.

It has been building up for a couple pears. I think the lack of grit, along with the lack of a third line threat, has been part of the Wings' downfall. For example, the second line of Flip- Z- Huds is very talented, but none of the players crash the net, punish in the corners, etc. The bottom-six has a similar problem. The third line of Abby- Helm- Cleary can bang, but they don't have a scoring threat. This would be okay, but the fourth line has been a worse version of the third line. For the bottom six next season, I'd like the see something like this: Tatar- Abby- Nyquist Miller- Helm- Prust/Asham The above lines would (hopefully) get similar amounts of ice time, but each has a distinct purpose. The top-six needs players willing to go to the tough areas, and the bottom six needs an identity to each line.

And he continues to get scoring chances and make hits without anyone on Chicago seeming to care. Ridiculous four on four segment there.

How has Torres not been challenged yet? OEL was even roughing up Kane at the end of the second with no response.
