Backes went at Mule first I believe. Wings won't be shorthanded to start the third. I'm surprised so many posters are upset with Mule standing up for himself after being roughed.

He was standing up for himself. The box score has no penalties from that altercation (they may be added during the intermission).

I'm wishing for that as well. If it is true, hopefully Drum is alright (legally). -
I posted this on HF (before I saw the topic here), but this I think changes should be made. IMO the best option would be the current price for out of market online streams, with an additional fee for local games. This fee could then be split between the local broadcast provider and the NHL. I don't know if the cable companies could/would have power over this (IMO they wouldn't be happy), but it could be set up such that the local broadcaster makes more money than they currently make on viewers of local market teams.

I agree with this. As long as the Wings play well (effort) in the playoffs, I am happy with the team. Assuming the Wings go all out in the playoffs, I will only feel a season is unsuccessful if the Wings did not make the playoffs. With that said, I will be disappointed if the Wings don't win the Cup.

Win or lose, I will be a Wings fan. I might not agree with all of the management and coaching decisions, but I will be rooting for the Wings.
