He's been good in the corners. Recently I've been impressed with his vision. He gets the puck back to the point very well.

We all must have secret enemies on the forum. The neg was removed for a while but it was put back in recently. I don't mind the system in theory, but, as you said, many posters use it for personal reasons and don't substantiate their neg with a reply. Good two periods. Seems like some of the games from the past few years where the other team seems to capitalize on every opportunity while the Wings generally dominate the game.

I didn't neg you, but it was likely because the Wings have been outplaying the Canes most of the night.

The Official NHL Suspension Thread
WorkingOvertime replied to Bring Back The Bruise Bros's topic in General
How do you determine was is deliberate? Was Smith's hit deliberate? The head can be hit regardless of the hitter's intention. Having a system like you outlined would be terrible for players because hits to the head can be accidental, even if they look deliberate to a person. At the beginning of the season there was a lot of discussion about there being to many suspensions that were to long, and now many fans want longer suspensions. Because intent is never known, all hits have to be punished similarly. Therefore, many unintentional hits are punished already. -
I agree that he would be good on the third line. While he has been impressive, it will likely be best to ease him into playoff minutes and an NHL scoring role. I would like to see the Wings start the playoffs with this bottom 6. Nyquist- Abby- Cleary Miller- Emm- Mursak/Homer

Riley Sheahan signs tryout contract with Griffins

I'd be more than happy if he developed a scoring touch, but there isn't much evidence of it yet. With the Wings' weakness at the 4c position, I'm hoping he can develop quickly. -

I believe the team has known he will need surgery after this season. When the team is healthy(er), I wouldn't mind the team letting him heal. However, I don't think it's correct to say that he doesn't have it anymore.
-
His knee has been injured most of the season. How do you conclude he doesn't have it anymore when his knee is healthy?

There are a few on wiziwig. Is there any news in the chat about someone being able to remove the VLC update notification? The chat doesn't load for me.

3/17 GDT : Red Wings 2 at Sharks 3 (OT)
WorkingOvertime replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Should he have let that player score? Havlat shouldn't have been able to trail that play do easily. Abby was fine and the third line was good. IMO Mursak should have been moved up when Helm got injured. -

FWIW Abby had to make that hit, or that Shark would have likely scored. -
