He had a great opportunity to drive the net, but he just circled.

The Wings have good 3rd line depth players, but they do have a shortage of depth skill players. The absences on D also contribute to the current troubles. The Wings rely on the D more than most teams for offensive plays.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the players share of revenue decrease by a small amount. I don't believe the cap will go down significantly (if at all), but the owners may want an an extra percent or two of revenues. The cap is directly related to NHL revenues. The cap has only increased because revenues have increased. -

The last two games the 2nd and 3rd lines are had similar ice time numbers. Further, it will probably be good for Nyquist to play with Abby in case the game gets rough. -
