You can not blame Osgood for this. He stood on his head for 7 games, only reason this team got as far as they did from day 1 of the playoffs was Osgood. Sure, 2nd goal he may have been able to stop, he didn't, can't expect to win a game from 1 goal and only 20 minutes of quality play from the people infront of you. Congrats to the Pens, they came to play and came out guns blazing from the start. Can't say the same from our team. Although, they had a decent season and a decent run, too bad, hopefully we'll grab it back next year. As far as the Hossa argument is concerned, I'd like to see him leave the team, use the cap space to bring in some other guy that is willing to play his heart out in the playoffs.

It could also be a gamble that could pay off. I'm undecided on how good Emery can be. The stuff that happened with the Sens organization was : / . I wouldn't take either side, it was like a kid and his parents/teacher. I guess next season will tell, although he did post a decent record and a decent GAA.

Neither do they after playing Game 5 the way they did. Still a classy team that shows the Pens how a loss is taken. Too bad Osgood played great and Detroit only played 10 minutes of hockey again. Hopefully they'll show up Friday and take it to the Pens.
