I'm on it as well. And been for a while now. Kinda keeping a little break from it at the moment. I had played ME1 through once a couple years from now on my PC, but just had to get the trilogy when it came out on PS3. And as always I want to complete EVERYTHING in it as I'm pretty much a perfectionist when it comes to gaming. So that means I already have to play the first game through multiple times to get everything there is to get. Two first playthroughs went but pretty soon when the third one started things got too boring and I just had to the break. Let's see when I have the "strength" to finish that grinding. ME2 is the award that awaits me once I'm done and I've barely watched the trailer for it. I don't want to spoil too much beforehand.

Wasn't a hit to the head. It was a hit to the chest. The player went home, slept overnight, felt sick the next day, called an ambulance and eventually died in the hospital. Very tragical indeed, but doesn't really have much to do with the actual play. Finnish player Teemu Elomo who played in that game and saw the hit explained what really happened there. Here's the article.

Finished playing Sleeping Dogs. Got the Platinum trophy, a great game! Now gonna play some NHL 13. I have to finish my fantasy draft season and my simulation 25-season GM-mode with the Wings before NHL 14 comes out. Also going to play Hitman at the same time as well. Platinum trophy is the goal there as well. After Hitman is finished I may play some Skyrim (that's a loooong project) or start the Mass Effect trilogy. The Last of Us comes in two months and that will be a welcome addition, definitely.

Yes. Patrick Eaves to CBJ for their three 1st rounders this year. -
Finally ordered Hitman Absolution, now that the price has dropped to half from the original here. And I really needed a 3rd game - can't be playing Skyrim or NHL 13 all the time. Just a little easier to spend the time waiting for May 7th now. edit: ALSO I bought the ME Trilogy pack for PS3. Didn't know there even was one, apparently it was released in December. I played ME 1 on PC when it came out and decided I'd play it again once they're all out and I've got a better PC. But now that it came out for PS3 (with the first version edited better) and with the ability to continue with the same char throughout all the games I just couldn't resist! !!!!!!

Disney Buys Star Wars, 3 New Films Coming
Finnish Wing replied to MabusIncarnate's topic in Water Cooler
I actually like this if they base those on some good stories that already exist in the SW universe (from the Old Republic era for example). edit: Guess not. 'Star Wars' spin-offs: A young Han Solo movie, and a Boba Fett film -- Exclusive -
I'm not sure what kind of game that "The Last of Us" is exactly, but I've been waiting for a real survivor type of game for a long time. I loved RE's before they decided to change them to action shooters. Something realistic, like people (including YOU) actually getting killed by potentially one bullet and having only limited ammo is what I'd really want from a game like that. And that every enemy encounter is something special, like in RE 1 and 2. edit: Okay, the game looks AMAZING! It for PS3 only, I see.

GM Ken Holland says Red Wings might not make playoffs this year

Have to disagree there. I'd easily place them ahead CHI for example. -
Detroit Red Wings Impact Players: Valtteri Filppula
Finnish Wing replied to WingsFan19's topic in General
I think 75 points in a 82-game season (predicted in the article) is too high for Filppula considering there were only 24 forwards last season who scored at that pace. But then again there were guys like Elias, Lupul and Whitney last season scoring that pace. I guess you can never say never, but that's still very unlikely. -

Interesting information, definitely. Thanks. Although as we know, armies and their guns are nothing compared to the Force. Unless you've got something like this... -

I'd rather see movies tell stories about the Old Republic for example. Or from some Star Wars era where there really where as powerful characters as Vader/Revan etc. where. I have not studied those things that much, but are there enough to tell right after episode VI that is like EPIC enough? Because there are tons of small stories in the Star Wars universe, but story of Revan for example was something massive. I'd want to see something that's huge and epic and a threat that is really really big. -
Completely agree about the KotOR 3 thing. Money talks, too bad.

Have you gotten The Old Republic yet? I was thinking of maybe getting it, but I think it would change my life a little too much right now.

Players That Never Played in Detroit
Finnish Wing replied to Bring Back The Bruise Bros's topic in General
Raimo Helminen. My favourite player of all-time, hands down. Easily had the talent to have a successful NHL career (40 points in 66 games in his rookie season) but his back problems eventually got in the way of things. He was with Rags and Isles but the time just wasn't right for him. Another player like that is Jarkko Immonen. A typical center like Helminen was, but it may be that we'll never know how he would do in the big league. That's the downside of the KHL. -
Yzerman has been a GM in a totally different type of organisation. Managing the Red Wings who are annual contenders is different than managing a team trying to make the playoffs. The are GMs who are probably better in rebuilding than Holland, but when it's a contender team it's all about the draft and making smart moves - nothing too big getting all the headlines.

Predators for me. I already said after the trade deadline that this could be their year.
-
Started playing better and better when the games mattered the most. Sucked in the beginning of the season. Too bad there weren't enough players who cared like he did.
-
This is what I meant.
-
Same thing with Quincey when he was acquired at the deadline then? I bet there's a lot of angry players in the Detroit locker room.
-
If the Ducks are trading Selanne they want prospects. Hudler and Kindl aren't prospect anymore. And if we are going for the Cup I rather give them Pulkkinen etc. than Hudler for example who can actually help us RIGHT NOW.
-
7th rounder for Nitty.
-
And that's because of the rules. You'll always get a game misconduct when you fight.Sami is already retired and in politics now I think. Patrik Lostedt, Ilari Melart and Virtanen are pretty much the only fighters. Melart is still young and has become a more complete hockey player, he could still get an NHL contract some day.
-
Good point. I just hope there would be some NHL-ready enforcer from Finland. Because you know how biased I am.Jonne Virtanen is still young and already the most feared fighter in FEL. He can play the game as well. Maybe we could sign him.
