We had much better offense last year. You do remeber this guy, Marian Hossa?Not too good to stay with the KHL team? He wants to come here. Dynamo is merging with MDV and his contract will end because of that. Has nothing to do with how good he is, but I'm pretty sure most teams in the KHL would want him. I don't know what the Czech coach was thinking on that one. Although they have pretty good guys on offense and Hudler's not a 4th liner type. But look what happened to them. Ended up being 7th(?).

Last year Hudler was tied 70th in points (57) and tied 102nd in ppg (0.70) among forwards.There are 3x30=90 "1st line forwards" and 6x30=180 "top6 forwards" in the NHL. Hudler was a 1st line forward in terms of points and still a top6 forwad in terms of points per game. Plus, he did all this playing on the 3rd line most of the time. No matter how you look at it, Jiri Hudler is a top6 forward in the NHL and definitely a good one too.

Playing great in any league never translates into playing good in some other league until you do it. Rynnas is the next Pekka Rinne. The guy is huge and kinda late bloomer as well.

I think uniting ZDH would be a good idea. I don't know why Babs has Z on the faceoffs all the time. He hasn't been that good on them and I though Filppula is generally been solid faceoff guy.

Lidstrom wasn't doing so well. I mean -3 yeah, but you could see that he had some problems even without looking the plus-minus. Didn't make mistakes with the puck but the Coyotes forwards just seemed to have chances by winning him on 1on1 -battles. Bertuzzi wasn't good either. Didn't play physical at all. Kinda floated around there, got about four great scoring chances, but didn't manage to put one in.

I definitely don't. Salary cap creates more competing and GM's need to really understand what they are doing. I know Red Wings is probably one of those teams who would benefit with no cap, because of the reputation here. I just think it's stupid that some teams could have better players because they've got more money, yet the way they've got that money have nothing to do with ice-hockey usually.I really want some kinda salary cap system here in FEL too.
