It's not about only steroids. Performance enhancing drugs are the key here. It's a long season and for some star players when you play the pre-season, actual season, playoffs, olympics it just may be too much to handle with natural ways.
-
Why wouldn't you use performance enhancing drugs if there's basically no testing at all? Everyone wants to win, everyone wants to be successful and earn money. Only small percent gets to the big league; the competition is tough. If someone else uses and is getting ahead of you in the competition of course you may start using them as well, whether you're an enforcer or not.

Yes. Clearly.

Based on the last few seasons, there's not a single player in the league that's more valuable to his team than him. -

Terrible deal. -
But if you look at the ball from a different perspective isn't it still red?

Ville Leino. -
Because Ward's Canadian and Rask isn't, right?
-
Which one?

Maybe they see the 60+ point mark more as his potential. Hard to determine what a "breakout year" really means.
-
There's still a long way from saying to doing, but that's good to hear anyway.

Sabres website will show their game.

I'll definitely watch the Sabres game. Interesting to see m'boy Leino at center again.

Confirmed dead? I'm pretty sure everyone (excluding Galimov and the crew member) have already been confirmed dead. Or have the news not reach USA yet?

In hockey history or in NHL history? -
Not directly, necessarily. Rypien has to do with the unexpected deaths lately. And the unexpected death's have to do with steroids etc. I didn't know this was a "R.I.P thread" in the Water cooler. I thought you are supposed to actually discuss in the General discussion section. My bad.
-
Which statement? Of course we have no concrete proof, or else NHL's marketing system would not have done its job well. Steroids and other enchanters have the possibility of leading to a instant unexcepted dead.NHL players use stims etc., period. Bigger more physical guys (such as fighters) are more likely to use steroids where as players who rely more to skill may only use restoring stimulants.
-
Steroids and other that kinda stuff that doesn't belong in the human body. The leagues just don't want to talk about it because it would look bad from a marketing perspective.

Well, the first Metal Gear Solid in '98 was a huge hit here. I remember it well as I started school that year. I never had it myself but I always remembered the theme music and stuff like that. Only later I decided to play more of them and played both the first and the second game. Great story, great gameplay, awesome game. Still thinking to maybe buy the Snake Eater for my PS3 and the other ones as well.As for the actual discussion in the thread, I really don't think Andrei Kostitsyn is the kinda player that we should try to get right now or in the near future. edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqqq8uqSDnk TRULY EPIC!

I love your new avatar so much that I'll be giving you some +1.

You forgot(?) Stamkos, Malkin and Eric Staal.

Terrible overpayment.

LOL. "The North American style - the positive and fun style!" Looks like the Cold War is still alive and well.

Kinda depends on Mursak's role next season. If they see Mursak more as an offensive forward they should probably go with Conner. If they see him as a checker, go with Emmerton.
