Babcock: "Filppula's line is our best." Finnish article - Filppula's line is our best. Valtteri plays solid two-way game, and I don't have anything bad to say about the others either. I just wouldn't want to say this again and again after every game throughout the entire season.

I totally disagree. We have so many new guys this year, so much young blood. This team will be hungry. But can this team as strong mentally as they used to be?

PLEASE. As said earlier: the reason is not PK, not Ozzie, not enforcer, not turnovers. These things are all consequences of one specific thing: focusing and playing every 60 minutes of that 60 minute game.

Leino, the 800k guy, looked bad while Dats, the 6,7M guy, looked good?

Well I kinda expected more from him even when the game was already over and everyone else had lost their interest. Leino is still playing for minutes and he always plays for stats. Flip is the guy who always plays for team. But as you said, almost the whole team pretty much sucked (Babs too) so I wouldn't pick Leino over anyone else there.

He's like Anakin. He has great future ahead of him, but he needs patience or he'll fall to the Dark Side. Other guys there are the member of the Jedi Council. Lids is Yoda, Z is Obi-Wan etc.

Now they're talking how Filppula, Leino and etc. aren't providing enough scoring while IMO Dats and Z are those who need to improve. Together or separated.

I agree. Babs should have taken a time-out or pull Ozzie already after those two goals when the score was 3-1. You could clearly see that the team wasn't focused enough. Flip had a chance to make it 2-5 which would've been totally different than this 1-5 we have now. Miller is also a top goalie, saved that Flip's effort too so he's probably confident right now.

I just hope we don't make these dark moments a habit. I mean same kinda thing happened in the Blues game. It's not about defense, it's not about offense, not about PK, not about enforcers, not about goalkeeping. It's about focusing and playing every minute of that 60 minute game. I said that in that "sky is falling" -thread after two games and I'm still saying it.

This would've been totally different if Flip had scored there. I mean 2-5 isn't that bad. Not as nearly as bad as 1-5.

Pulling goalie doesn't even most times mean that he's performed badly. Pulling goalie is a wake-up call for the team. Unfortunately, I don't know if this team's trust in Howard is high enough. Compare this situation to last year when we had Conklin. Team really trusted both our goalies and pulling was more easier to do. But as I said, Babs did that move 2 goals too late.

Good job KRONWALL! This team is sleeping. Babs should have pulled Ozzie or take a timeout two goals before this happened.
