Look man, you have posted like 532 different lines here. I know one of the will be the "right one" and then you can go like "WHAT DID I SAY?!?!".

Personally, I would love Esa Tikkanen to make a comeback. Would be a solid addition to our Wings roster too. -
100% agreed.
-
Damn, you did it again...

LINUS OMARK!!! nuff said kthxbai

Well, Sami has played as D too and has always been a fast skater. He's good defensively, although not that big.
-
Bergenheim is easily a better choice in the 4th line than Leino.
-
I don't see Leino in the Finnish Olympic team if there is no major injuries or flops. OJokinen-SKoivu-Selanne TRuutu-Mkoivu-Miettinen JJokinen-Filppula-Lehtinen Bergenheim-Nokelainen-SKapanen JRuutu Forwards look solid enough. Goaltending is good as well (Kipper, Backs, Rinne). It's the defense were the problem is. Numminen will probably retire so we like 5 NHL defenders (Timonen, Pitkanen, Lydman, Koistinen, Salmela). Koistinen and Salmela didn't look too good in the WC. Possible choices outside NHL: Nummelin, Vaananen, Lehtonen, Kukkonen, Niinimaa. E: That's right. Hagman isn't there either. These lines are all about giving the players right roles and creating good combinations. Every line would have good chemistry. Two scoring lines, one line with good defensive forwards and one energy line. It just don't see Hagman there.

Oh. Didn't know this, thx. This will change this around a bit.
-
It's Lupul-Getzlaf-Perry Ryan-Koivu-Selanne Ryan adds some toughness to that 2nd line. Ducks will be good next season. If they get rid of Giguere and can get good top 4 defender, they're serious contenders for the Cup. I just wondered why didn't they just re-sign Pronger and (Rob) Niedermayer. Then trade Giguere + Ebbet for something like Lupul + Sbisa + Niittymäki etc. I mean Lupul-Getzlaf-Perry Ryan-Koivu-Selanne Niedermayer-Marchant-Nokelainen Carter-Christensen-Parros Brown Niedermayer-Pronger Whitney-Wisniewski Sbisa-Brookbank Hiller Niittymäki

Yeah, but I just thought he'd understand the situation Wings are in. He would get his raise next year.
-
If you can get Kotalik @~2,5M it's bargain. Big body, good shot, nice hands. Dunno if he's fast or not, but would definetly be more than a good replacement for Huds. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Cleary Franzen-Filppula-Kotalik Leino-Helm-Holmstrom/X Holmstrom/X-Draper-Maltby Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Lilja/Lebda Meech Osgood Howard I think Abby will play in GR if we can get someone like Kotalik. Because there's no point playing Abby in 4th line here and it would be too risky to keep an all-rookie 3rd line (Abdelkader-Helm-Leino).
-
This was pretty much expected. I could never have seen him in Minnesota competing for the same spot with his brother. And I really think Koivu-Selanne will be a excellent combination, no matter who's the third wheel. They've always have good chemistry even though they haven't played that much together.
-
I mean most of the games you didn't even notice Hudler there. Flip was far more dominating and made good plays all the time.
-
So it's only about the money these days...or friends? Dunno. I thought that Czechs hate Russians.
-
I really don't think Huds will get 3M. He's not as good as Val. As I said before, the best for Wings and the best for Hudler would be 1 year deal with something like 2,25M. Next off-season we would have more cap space to play with and Huds would get his 3M or more if he's proven himself. E: but it seems that we already lost him to KHL so Lilja + Moen it is then! See ya Lebda, I think.
-
I don't think Lilja + Moen =/= Hudler. I think Lilja + Moen > Hudler, but as we know one D-man will be dumped (Lilja or Lebda) so Lilja + Moen =/= Hudler + Lebda. We lost some offensive talent in Hossa and Sammy so it would be IMO better if we would keep Huds and Lebda. If we even have the choice.
-
IMO Flyers and Pronger are great together. I could never even imagine him in Wings.
-
U mean Swedish goalie, right? Finnish goalies have done pretty well here IMO. Russians (half-euros) and Czechs aren't that bad either.
-
Well I think it would best for everyone if Hudler would sign only 1 year deal. As we all know, after one year there will be cap space to play with. So Huds would get his big raise then - in here or somewhere else. As long as he keeps playing well.
-
I think Huds will sign a 1 year deal with something like 2,25M. Then after Homer, Maltby (maybe Lids, Draper too) there will be more cap space to play with.
-
Kronwall will take big steps offensively and stay here for the rest of his career. Ericsson will become a good top 4 D-man. Lids will probably play 1-2 years and Raffi 2-3 years. Stuarts future will depend on how good will he be. If he doesn't play better and keeps making those turnovers Kenny probably won't offer him a new contract. We could get Doughty or Weber if they decide to test the open market etc. If Kindl will get his game going again he can be on the roster too.
-
Filppula scores. Tehdä maali means both "do paint" and "score a goal". But how do you do paint?????
-
"Only 1,8 mill". Way too much for Axelsson.
-
Do you really think Homer can play 5on5 that much in his last season?
