Well I think Pitkanen and Timonen are both better offensive D's. Pitkanen is equal to Kronwall in the own end. Timonen may not be as good as Kronnie in the own end but he's playmaking and blueline skills are much better. Of course we can argue about this forewer. It's hard to compare players playing for different teams. I mean, if you have better players around you like Kronwall does, it's easier to play. Pitkanen may not have so good players around him, but he's the ice-time king in every game and Hurricanes best D-man. Timonen is just Timonen.

Why can't Leino be on the 3rd line then. Do you really think that Abdelkader is better scoring goals than Leino just because of the two goals recently? One created totally by Leino, other when trying to dump the puck deep. I just hate how you guys start blaming Leino about the losses. And think Abby would make some kind of big difference.
