I agree. Leino <-> Draper
-
I would let Huds go if this would happen. If Leino plays we need Sammy to bring some D to our play, while Leino is good offensively. Hudler will probably ask more wages than Sammy too...but this is only if we can get Hoss + Leino + Sammy/Huds

As I said in the other topic. Leino is in the wrong role right now, he's not that fast either. But he will easily become a point producer after he works with hes skating and gets to play regularly in the 2-3 lines. And I mean regulalry; it isn't easy to shine if you get moved between lines all the time. Leino is still one of the best in this team to stick with the puck in the offensive zone...

I think it would be stupid to play Abby over Leino. Abby maybe good in the poffs, but Leino is much better when it comes to regular season producing. Just imagine Leino after he works with his skating the whole summer...

I say Leino, Homer, Abby or Maltby will sit. If Dats returns, we should have good centers in every line, because we're playin in Pittsburgh. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Filppula-Helm.

I totally disagree with this post. I would say that Ville Leino is definitely a late bloomer, but not Helm. Many of you guys expect too much from him...

Their equipment is made of this new rubber magnet. Everybody here in Finland uses it.

Cleary isn't that slow either... OT: I think he's the kind of player who will always bloom in the post-season. But I can't see him in offensive role...excellent 3rd line center for the future though. Possibly 2nd line center if he works with his passing and has the right guys around him. He will never be as good offensively as Leino, Huds and Filppula though...

C - Zetterberg A - Datsyuk A - Kronwall/Filppula/Franzen (in that order)

I think Rajala is exactly the player that Wings should draft 1st round. I've watched him play for 2 years now (plays for my favourite team in Finland) and he's very talented. He also dominated in the U21 WC, breaking the point record of Ovie (and played one game less). He's also great two-way player. I think the only weakness he has is the size. He's only 174cm tall, although doctors have said that he'll become +180cm. Anyway Rajala + Redwings = perfect match...

If that's so, who's the 3rd line center then. Because Flip needs to be in top 6...

Leino. For pissing off Kris Versteeg (dunno if it's that hard though...)
-
I think 5 mins for that is an absolute joke...hope they don't make it anymore ridiculous by giving extra game misconducts.

Ville Leino hattrick: 1. Use the wrong helmet 2. Score a spin-o-rama goal 3. Go back to AHL
-
Many of you guys don't remeber that Leino played very well on the 4th line too (with Draper and Maltby). His +/- was good in those games.

I would let Hossa go for sure. Even if it takes some scoring power away. I would set the lines like this: Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmström Franzen-Filppula-Hudler Leino-Helm-Cleary Abdelkader-Draper-Maltby (Ritola) Lidström-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Lilja (Meech) Osgood (Howard) I think these lines have good chemistry as well as good balance in checking, scoring and playmaking.
