Zetterberg is a BEAST! He's outplayed both of "THE WORLDZ BESTESTEST PLAYERZ IN THE WHOLE-WIDEZ-WORLDZ" night in, night out. I'm so glad we don't have a two player team, and have to overpay subpar players to come here to play in Detroit. Hank for MVP! Zetterberg has HEART! Show him some love!

I'm not a stat junkie, but how many players does the Detroit Red Wings have on their roster that has more points/goals than Crosby in this series? I know Zetterberg, Franzen, Abs, Flip and Ericsson all do. Who am I missing? "Worlds best player" may ass! Lol.

I don't get why some members here are so easily offended by hockey discussions. I, for one, and completely and utterly sick of seeing "Hossa's going resign" - "Hossa is gone", "We can't afford Hossa", "Should we trade x,y,z to resign Hossa" threads. Just trying to break up the monotony, no need to get all angry mob on me.

I don't think that has been said at all. I mean, certainly "The Best Hockey World in the World" should have more than one point... wouldn't ya think? My point is hockey is a TEAM sport. It seems the media (and Pens fans) think (or promote) hockey as a "two superstar" sport. Is there a "i" in "team"? I love that cliche`!!!

Some people don't have the intelligence to form their own opinion based on facts. Which is clearly the case here. So far, based on the Pens fans that have joined LGWs, have very little knowledge about hockey. Not that I expect them too, since their organization almost went bankrupt due to no fan support at all. Don't get me wrong, I am glad the Penguins are finally starting to draw a fan base. I don't like to see teams go bankrupt, it's not good for the entire league. -

Probably Melkan or whatever his name is... But he's pretty good at disappearing too... Really, there isn't one player on the Peguins team that really scares me. I think Detroit has the answer for all their players. What scares me most is Refs letting a 25 second 6-on-5 go and then calling a weak call against us in the 3rd. Letting Gill and Oprik get away with murder and making weak calls to allow Pens to get a win... That's pretty much what scares me the most... -
Pens' coach should be coach of the year. His philosiphy is if they can't beat us 5-on-5, then try 6-on-5. Haha. Ref could high-five the sixth player and say "way to go!, that's the way to beat 'em". What losers can't compete without a man advantage.

Well the good news is, even if he doesn't play tonight, he will play in this series. Many folks were on here saying Pavs is done for the playoffs. That's not the truth, Pavs will play in this series.

Another solution would be shut off the tube (or cable box) and head down to the local sports bar, because, regardless, they will ALL be playing it on their projection screen. win/win Too bad the writer didn't think of this... this way you can still watch the game and still not give VS credit that you watched the game (and giving business to the local bar helps stimulate the economy -
Haha! Must suck being a penguin fan right now. Just when they think their team has a spark of a chance, Babcock throws in two defensive Selke winners (and MPV finalist) against a Penguin team already struggling to get goals. Dats and Draper coming back reaks WIN all over it!
