I love this team. You can see how high their spirits are, and I don't just mean Pav and Ozzie, but the entire team has high spirits after the loss... it doesn't even effect their composure at all. It's fun watching their pressers / post game interviews. I watched Pens pressers and post game after their loss (and even after their win) you can sense major tension and they seem down and unsure of themselves. I am so proud of my team.!

I disagree, Chicago would take the Pens in 6. Chicago's defense and depth would overwhelm the Pens. Detroit just came off a grueling 7 games series, then a 5 game series and had to start the next round two days later, back-to-back, and played 3 games in 4 nights. Not to mention all the injuries to start the series. Pens come rolling in on a 4 game sweep with all the momentum in the world, they got the benefit of the schedule and our big injuries and still couldn't take advantage. Am I confident? f*** Yeah! Why the f*** shouldn't I be? What has your team done to prove otherwise? Have they even scored a 5-on-5 goal yet? Oh wait... they did get one in game 3, right? Chicago > Pittsburgh

That's what Hawks fans said in western finals. And look how that turned out. And honestly, the Hawks were a more challenging and resilient team than the Pens have shown thus far. It'd be nice for the Wings to win the cup on home ice this year.

Yup, I started a thread on LetsGoWings last year about the Mellon wasn't allowing Red Wings fans. I remember last year a group of Red Wings fans were all chipping in on a bus for a trip to PA, but the plan failed because they couldn't score tickets due to ID checks.

I think it should also be noted that Holmstrom is playing with an injury. I observed him very closely last night and you could see he is playing with pain.

This not only helps shut down that goony looking melkin dude, but it also helps our specialty teams significantly.

Red Wings are the best team in the world at adjusting to their environment. In a different arena, inconsistent calls (my biggest ***** about yesterdays game - if they are going to call it, call it BOTH ways - i.e Ericsson call), different boards and ice. Not too mention first 10 minutes of jitters. Wings were bad for icing the puck so much yesterday. They seemed to feel rushed to get rid of the puck when they had plenty of time to find a stick to pass too... that was another area that needs to be worked on. Yesterdays game boils down to a power play game. Wings will need to adjust and be better on the PK, I expect the refs to turn their heads away from Penguins infractions, and call Detroit on what Pen(i)s get away with. We just need to adjust. Wings will take game 4. We all know Ozzy will bounce back and play like the MVP.

I haven't seen people whining. I saw people disappointed because we blew our sweep last night. Ah well, I guess we'll get it done in 5 or 6. A sweep would have been great, just to prove that Crosby is a little *****.

I still haven't seen anything impressive in the Penguins team yet. The media keeps telling me how great they are and how they can do this and do that... I'm still waiting. We already put away two better teams. Penguins just don't have it. They're missing something.... but this isn't their year.

The 6 on 4 was glorious, wasn't it. I'm not going to complain about the PPs. I knew going into this that Detroit would need to battle through this + injuries + 4 games in 3 nights. I thought Detroit was the better team, despite being on away ice and getting called for stuff the other teams gets away with.

Most of us here knew there would be no sweep. Besides, I personally would like to watch a few extra games of hockey. Chicago was actually more competitive than Penguins.. and look how that ended
