if....if....if......if....if.....if only some of those shots had actually mattered on the official scoreboard. Offense was the reason we lost last night, not the goaltending. We lost a meaningless preseason game, guess this means we're not going to win the cup? /sarcasm

Lol. @ this thread! @ fair weather ignorant Wings fan that have no sense of reality. Fu.k.in.g un.believ.able. Save oxygen and just pull the trigger! And thanks!
-
If I remember correctly, no one else wanted Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Cleary, Lidstrom and so on and on... Look how that turned out for us. I like to think RW org know more and have more knowledge than "others", including 29 other NHL organizations. Jm2c

Flip, Williams, Abby and Leino were the best players of the game imo. I think J.Willy was a brilliant move by Holland! Oh yeah, Cleary was rock solid as usual. Bert needs to work harder. He seems to want the play to come to him.

These announcers suck. They don't want to announce the game, instead they rather talk about some kid in college for the last 5 minutes. f*** I wish I can see the game

GDT 9/6/09 Detroit Red Wings v Atlanta Thrashers
Snazzy replied to russianswede919293's topic in General
Pare had a solid game with 3 assists. Tatar looks to be a damn good pick from the way he showed up. Go Wings! -
Absolutely pathetic!

This question isn't directed to you, but to anyone who knows... how is going to play games in Canada? He won't be allowed to cross the border with a conviction; he can't pass for minimum of 5-years. I know, I have tried. Canada won't let me in their country and I have found a job there... So I can't take the job, even. Wonder if he gets "special treatment" because he's part of a billion dollar organization, NHL.?
-
Kudos to you for trying to start BS and bogus rumors, dips***. You have no clue what McCarty was (and wasn't) doing. You are just some pimple face prick in mama's basement trying to sound like a know-it-all, while not knowing s***. Please unplug the PC from the wall and find a job, loser! How does it feel when people assume and making up bogus stuff? Get a clue.

My god, 4 pages? Why do people like drama so much is beyond me.

We lost 88 goals and get back 76 goals - Good Job Kenny!

Brilliant how you tried to dodge the question. So you really do think Leino, Helm and Ericsson will all play less than 20 games this season? Also, it appears your reading comprehensions are totally whacked. I said Leino will score 12 goals. He scored 5 goals in 13 games. 12 goals in 82 games shouldn't be that difficult for the rookie. Then again, you think he's only going to play 13 games this season... -

Snazzy replied to Snazzy's topic in General
Lilja is not a scoring defenseman. Ericsson is an offensive defenseman. Ericcson used to play forward and will likely get some time quarter-backing the PP. Lilja never quarterbacked the Power Play. Ericsson scored the only goal in game 7 of the WCF... when everyone else in red and white couldn't. So yes, Ericsson goals will be useful for 2009/10 season (and playoffs) to think otherwise is absurd. -

Wait! So Leino is only going to play 13 games this season? Really? And you said my post was illogical. Lol! (by the way, Leino is on pace to score 31 goals in 81 games -- by using your logic) P.S. Ericsson will play more than 19 games next season Helm will play more than 16 games next season -

07/08 -- After I clicked "submit" I thought to myself,,,,,,"awww's***, now the thread is going to turn into a major f*** fest and pissing contest over a typo." Oooops, lol. This should be fun! -
When Kunitz got the cup with the Ducks he brought it to my small hometown bowling alley / sports bar. I suspect he'll do it this year since he went to our college (Ferris State). I didn't go see it when the ducks got it and I doubt I'll see it if he brings it back. I have no interest in seeing a tainted cup. My qustion to Kunitz would be "who did Malkin blow to not get his one game mandatory suspension".
-
Raising the cap is the only thing I can think of that would fix the issue
-
Any word of the salary hit he signed for?
-
I blame the salary cap and Bettman. He is ruining the NHL. These NHL pro-athletes look around at other sport pro-athletes, like NBA and see they are making much better money that doesn't destroy the body like hockey does... yet NHL players get paid peanuts compared to other sports. I would run off to a better paying job too, who wouldn't? The Salary cap should be $60 - $70 million
-
According to LGWs... Holland not signing Grier means Wings will not make the playoffs. Lol.

Marian Hossa finally gets a taste of Stanley - sort of
Snazzy replied to SouthernWingsFan's topic in General
Unfortunatly for Hossa, he'll never win the real Lord Stanley Cup. -
So your logic is a couple of fist fights is tougher than getting speared so bad in your nut sack; liked they were slammed in a car door, removed and then go back to playing in the Stanley Cup Finals as if nothing happened at all? Lol. Really, is this what you are suggesting? Damn, I must be the toughest mofo in central Michigan, cause I got in 4 brawls in one nite and was looking for more. I am ******* Hercules! Haha! But wait, I had a hernia before. Just standing up to try and walk 10 feet to the bathroom was pure excruciating pain like nothing else, to the point that I urinated in a cup laying down. Am I still the toughest mojo in central Michigan?
-
I remember that. But that was the old NHL. Holland built this team for the new NHL. If a player tries to stir s*** up in the final 5 minutes, unlike before, they get an automatic game suspension (unless your name is Evgeni Malkin).
