Please re-sign Eaves at least. With a little work (and a little more ice time) I think he is a capable 20+ goal scorer. Thing is, Eaves HAS scored 20 goals before, so it's not something that he couldn't do again.

Cleary will have something to prove next season. Hopefully by time the season rolls around, his injuries will be all healed up. I have a feeling we will see a different Cleary in 10-11. So no, I don't think he should be traded.

This was quite an exciting series. It really could have gone either way in my opinion. Philly had Chi on their heels in the beginning of the OT. I just wish anyone other than Kane would've scored the game winner for Chi. Other than that, I thought this was a enjoyable series. Didn't really sting me either way as to which team won, but I got sick seeing Kane with the cup.

Kinda hard for him to get a decent fan base when he is on a different team every year.

Kinda made me sick that Kane scored the winning goal (after hitting that taxi cab driver for 20 cents). I thought that Philly was the better team towards the end there, I think they deserved to win this game and at least force a game 7.

It's all good. I understand where you're coming from. Just to clarify my point though, I never intended for it to be taken as saying "Hey you, if you don't want to see the Wings win, then you are not a true fan of the club." My comment was me being a smart ass, that's all. You can't hear sarcasm in words typed over the Internet unfortunately.

I don't think Kenny is going to sign a 4th liner. I have a feeling that we'll see Hudler and Bert on the third line, with the newly signed player (possibly Tanguay, since he is a left wing?). I believe Tanguay had a 81 point season before. He also has won a cup, and had like 21 points during the cup run (with the Avs). So I think he would possibly be a good addition to the third line. Kenny could probably get him for cheap too. Edit: grammer

Thanks for understanding. No, I am not one of those who tells anyone who they can and can't root for. I just chose to root for the Wings, and don't really have an opinion otherwise. I love the game, it just doesn't make me go yay when it's not the Wings lifting that shiny trophy. I guess I was a little vague in my post, whereas my intention was misconstrued. My intention wasn't to say "You can't root for any team other than the Wings", but being a smart ass and saying "Geez..... How could you want any other team to win, makes me sick" Oh well.

I can't help but feel like you're attacking me there. Sorry that I only like to see the Wings win the Stanley Cup, and really don't care who wins otherwise (not that I don't like watching it, I just don't have an opinion one way or another). I guess I can't make a comment saying that a thread like "please chicago win the stanley cup" is best reserved for a Hawks forum (being a rival fan, making a rival comment). First thing I am going to say is the reffing was atrocious (should be complained about). I'm sorry, but officiating did cost the Wings game 2. Calls were definitely in SJ favor all series. At times, I agree, SJ did outplay the Wings. This would've been a different series though if the zebras called it fair (more even).

At least we wont have to see Williams wearing a Winged wheel ever again. Btw, I think that the Wings need all the rest they can get. Perhaps an early exit is a blessing in disguise. With all the rest from this season, the Wings will be able to push further next season. Also, all of the injuries will be healed up come October .

Only team I was rooting for in the playoffs was the Wings. Only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing the Pens lose.
