My reaction in the first thread about Bertuzzi And was there really need of this thread, the other one was only on the third page.

People have been told many times that he has a NO TRADE CLAUSE in his contract, and the odds that he would waive it are not high IMHO nor do I think that Holland will ask him. He really stepped up his game in the playoffs and was one of our best defencemen even if people don't want to believe it.

I thought that I read in one of the threads that Oulahen was out of minor league options, though I could be wrong on this. Anyone know if this is true or not?

I think the fact that the Wings didn't play very well in games 6 and 7 was the reason that the Wings didn't repeat. Hockey is a team sport, you win as a team and you lose as a team.

Homer I could see retiring, he's not getting any younger and playing in front of the net is hard work and for as many years as he has takes a toll on the body. Maltby I can see finishing his contract with us so that Abs can get more minutes in GR before coming up to play full time with the Wings. Stuart has a NTC and I don't see him being asked to waive it and he was amazing for us in the playoffs. He just had a bad SCF, but not like many of the Wings had an amazing one unless your name is Osgood to only name one so to me there is no need to trade him. Now for the part that just confused me, how would getting Sundin make us a team for the ages, he hasn't said that he's going to play another season in the NHL.
