Yeah it seems when the pens lose a game, some of their fans decide to talk s*** about anything. Something that caught my eye in that thread was this: I think it's jealousy on their part that they can't play the Wings style of hockey.

I'm going with Wings in 6, and aren't Pens fans just full of knowledge. This was taken from a Pens facebook group. I removed the name and where the person is from. Seems like someone doesn't know anything about the Wings at all, or about their own team.

I'm new on the forums, but I have never bashed Osgood, and I agree with those guys. I would love to see Ozzie get the Conn Smythe just to shove it in the doubters faces who said Conklin was the way to go. I've seen a lot of Ozzie bashing on facebook and on streams with chat on goals that no goalie would have stopped and the constant wanting of pulling him for Conks was annoying, even if he had only let in one goal. I want him to get the Conn Smythe, but I can see it going to Crosby or Malkin depending on how effective they are against us, if they aren't than it should go to Ozzie. All and all go Wings.

I went with Osgood, I believe that he is our MVP for the entire playoffs. I love Helm, but I have to go with Ozzie.

Well you like Homer because it's not his job to score goals, his job is to stand infront of the crease and screen the goalie. If he doesn't play 5 on 5 we can still win the cup, but it would be easier with him playing. His usefulness is in serious question, where the hell did you come up with that, if it wasn't for him infront of the net how successful would our PP be, the answer would be not as successful. Babcock will let Homer see as much ice time as he sees fit. You sound like one of those annoying Osgood haters from the season saying that he should play much. You notice that your the only one blaming Homer for that game, when in reality the Wings didn't play a full game of hockey, which says a lot about our team if we can go down 3-0 and still force OT. BTW calling Homer Ninety-SUX is just stupid, he has played well in the playoffs, and like I said his role isn't about picking up points, but getting in front of the net, the hardest place to play on the ice.

I can't see Osgood getting the Conn Smythe for one reason only: Wings win the cup and nobody that isn't a Red Wings fan will say that Osgood had anything to do with winning. When the Wings win a game people say that it's due to their defence and offence. When Wings lose games people blame Osgood for it even if the entire team except him plays like crap. Lets face it, Osgood could not let a goal past him from here on and he still wouldn't be considered for Conn Symthe, but I hope I am wrong on that. I can see Crosby winning the Conn Smythe because of his point totals, which seems to a lot of new NHL fans is the only important part of an amazing player, and two-way players aren't as good.
