LET"SO RED WINGS!

I did not find the original post disrespectful and even agree with it in the first line of my reply (see post #21). I then tried to show the difference in how the two teams dealt with adversity. In the last line I even agree again with the OP. Why was the subject of the OP's reply dealing with my use of girls’ names and hating women and not the premise of the post? This was asked of me directly. (post #26) The OP further shows a condescending attitude in post 27. And I too am thankful that you are not a female relative of mine. Last but not least the OP does not even realize I gave him his first point to begin with in post #63. GO WINGS! and don't feed the trolls!

No sir the crux of my post was the amount of class shown by the Pens best players in last night’s game and compared that to ours in game 4. Again, my point remains entirely un-refuted. Your example, although not showing our best behavior is not the same for the following reasons: what Franz did was not a penalty, it did not involve a hit to the head or illegal use of the stick. Character and class are best shown at times of adversity and pressure. Both Mr. Crosby and Mr. Malkin have shown again they don’t have enough. I’m sure it will come with age and maturity as they gain experience.

First, I merely used names that reflect the amount of class they showed. Both were acting like spoiled school girls throwing a hissy fit. Second, you don't refute the underlying premise of my post so I can assume I'm correct. The leadership of the Pens showed no class and or maturity in last nights loss. Until they understand what that means they will never be champions

I agree that the class vs grit argument is defined from the perspective of the viewer. But the leaders of your team have to lead by example. The shots taken by Cindy and Eve last night were classless. You would NEVER see us take our frustrations out on the other teams’ players. Game 5 down by 2 in their building, were we running at Cindy or Eve? The Pens took a run at Lids if I remember correctly. No class even in victory! We took our loss like grown ups, not spoiled kids looking like someone reneged on a promise. I let Talbot's shot go as goons will do what goons do and it could be said that by that time in the game Dats should not have been on the ice to begin with. But it was a cheap shot none the less.

I keep trying to tell non-hockey fans that the Wings have fans from every country! WELCOME! GO WINGS! As to the thread, only beleve half of what you see and none of what you read!

Zetts and Dats together again! Euro-twin powers --> Activate!

LOL! I think this would have been better! (an ode to the Hanson brothers and Slapshot)

Very cool THANKS!

Yea, kinda wierd... almost felt the shorty comming and knew it was the begining of the end of the game. I think the 3 quick goals were a big wake up and made us look more tired than we were. Almost like the entire team knew to conserve energy (trying to get back 2 goals to tie in their building, a game with only 1 days rest, Dats comming back (?)), the series is only tied for heavens sake! Remember they HAVE to win one in our building, we don't have to do the same in theirs! GO WINGS!

Too many turn over’s, too many give a ways, not enough puck support and not being “hard on the puck.†That is what I noticed the last 2 games. We need to play the same way as what got us here. The Pens played up to their potential and took advantage of the chances we gave them. Offensively we have to get back to basics and stop trying to get so pretty. I’ve seen too many extra passes and not enough shoot and follow the puck. MAF gives up some juicy rebounds we need to pounce on.

It looks more like he/she is using an online translation from their native language.

I've been a Wings fan for a lot longer than I care to admit to and the playoffs have always been a time to put the whistles away and let the players deside. As others have mentioned all I'm looking for is to have the game called the same way all the way through. Players from both teams understand what will and won't be called after the first 5 minutes of play. The old standard was that you only called what changed a direct scoring chance almost everything else was left for the players to "work out" on the ice. This is how it was and how it should be. The call on E was a good call, for the regular season, not a) in the 3rd period of a SCF game, b) when you haven't been calling this (and worse) all evening. BTW - it is a primary duty of a linesman to look for too many men on the ice and is one of a very few penalties they can call.
