That's pretty much how I feel about it. He doesn't need to work another day in his life and he'll be fine money-wise. I love Lidstrom and want him back. Would I like for him to take a paycut to bring some other guys in? Sure. Is he worth every cent he's making now? Absolutely. I'll take him at $7.4. I'll take him at $1. It doesn't matter. -

The NHL has done such a great job this season with marketing, and this is how they start off the biggest part of the season? Someone forget to do this until the last second.

I know if I played for the NHL, I would love a chance to play in this game. Having Pittsburgh play for the second time in four years really must piss off the other teams.

I've been getting into watching the Tigers more. I attempt to play hockey. Plus I work 40+ hours a week. I miss watching hockey during the summer, but it's nice to have a break just for a little while to try and focus on other things that I otherwise wouldn't have time for because of watching hockey all the time.

I got to meet him once earlier in the year at a signing. He seemed like he actually wanted to meet the fans and not just write his name then ask for the next one. Classy guy.

Hossa made it to the finals 2 years ago with Pittsburgh, then last year with Detroit, now this year with Chicago. So, does that make him a good luck charm instead of a curse? Those 3 teams have all had better chances of getting the Cup when he was there compared to the other 28 who were kicked out. I don't know man, but my head is exploding.
