To be honest, I think three years is a perfect amount of time left for him. I agree for 1 year contracts here on out incase something goes sour. For a player like him, 40 is a perfect age to retire.

Baseball has been on my mind too. I've never really been into it, but it would be nice to have a sport to follow during the off season. Hockey has always been the only one I cared for. I keep thinking the playoffs should have already started. I think it's because these last few weeks everyone has been talking about whether or not the Wings will make the playoffs. Usually it's "alright, bring on the playoffs" right now for the Wings with no questions asked. This year is throwing my groove off. And again, welcome to LGW!

I agree. Although I wouldn't be surprised if some team has done this before thoughout the history of the NHL, and I don't mean just against the Wings.

It's so hard to measure because of differences in rules and equipment, but I always wonder the same thing. By the way, you guys are making me miss Konstantinov more and more.

Couldn't agree with you more. I give them both MAJOR props for, not only not killing each other, but for being SO civil. I would never guess they had that huge rivalry based on how they talked to each other. Great interview.

I think that's why everyone dislikes Ericcson as much as they do. He was awesome last year in the playoffs. But this season, a less nerve racking time to play, he hasn't been what he has before.

I would too appreciate an idea, but for iPhone. There have been times where I was in the same situation. It sucks only being able to look at the score every now and then through my THN app. Any suggestions would help either of us.

He's got to be in great shape to still be able to play. He's going to live until he's 100. And maybe stop playing hockey around then too. Good for him.
