I knew the NHL was going downhill anyways, but man, after watching some of these videos I can't help but cringe. Especially watching that Brad May goal considering he's the only regular Wing who doesn't have a goal. Something needs to get done.

This was his problem. The Wild had many 2 on 1 chances, and Ozzy stopped them all. But if the Wild passes it across ice, he had no chance. Their first two goals were across ice passes, their third was a deflection, and their last two were also across ice passes. The fact that our defense is allowing these passes to get across ice doesn't help Ozzy out too much. This is a team sport, not a "let's rely on the goalie" sport. -
I don't believe for a second that hitting him with a helmet was an accident. If you watch the video again, he clearly pulls the helmet off himself. While keeping it tight in his hands, he gives him a good bump on the head. I think the fine is a good enough punishment and nothing further should happen.

I think this is a great idea, but you alone sending in a video won't probably do a lot. They'll more than likely just ignore you. We need a lot more support from all over to get this problem fixed.

MLive Lidstrom may retire after this season. I'm betting he'll wait to see if the Wings win the cup this season. If they do, then he'll be out. Otherwise, I think he'll go for at least one more. But if he does retire, who do you think would take his "C" spot? I personally got my money on Zetterberg.

I have a pretty empty side of my wall I want to fill up with something. I had an idea to get a couple posters of all the retired jerseys and hang them in it's space. Anyone have any idea where I could get these or have them made?
