Not a game-changer, but definitely a great player to watch. His fists add a good entertainment value to the Wings.

I wasn't expecting anything great, so I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, there isn't a ton you can do when you're only using players born from here as there aren't a ton of amazing players ready for this type of competition.

1. McCarty is too good to be put in with those jackasses. I hate Versus. 2. I would love to see him take Murphy's place. All Murph does is state the most obvious things. "If they would have shot the puck more, they would have had more scoring chances." Really dumbass?

I'm a 20 year old male, and not afraid to admit when Yzerman retired, I cried. Seeing all these players I grew up watching when I first got into hockey, also making it easier to get into hockey, retire is tough. Guys like Yzerman, Shanny, and McCarty made it so easy to love hockey. I would love to thank them if I could. But seeing guys like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Franzen willing to take possible pay decreases to stay here makes up for it a bit. It just goes to show you, at least for me, how great this club is.
