I am just fine with Hudler and Flip sitting if Sammy and Bert are healthy and performing. Who's to say that Cleary doesn't sit?

You're right. Another early exit for Detroit may lead to some firings. I know we've been saying that for a few years now... but we've also been doing very little in becoming a better playoff team.

That's too bad. He'd be perfect with Drapes and Maltby, and Franzen's looked good enough on the 2nd line (though that isn't saying much) to give him a shot at improving Lang and Cleary/Calder.

Which one of you LGW posters stated "Let's trade Williams" after his success last season? I am going to buy you dinner, because I originally thought you were ******* nuts, and now I couldn't agree with you more. Unbelievable... and now we get to stroll into Neckville with Ozzy in net. We all know how well the Wings do on back-to-back nights when they travel.

I agree that the elbow was down, but that the hit was both head-hunting and LATE. It's all the talk here in Buffalo, for obvious reasons. Imagine it were Lidstrom or Zetterberg... do we go on to lose like we did in Philly? Buffalo played well. Wish I hadn't have turned in after the Sens took a 2-0 lead.

When did I ever say the star players should sit the bench? Did you read my post? How about any of these posts? You hit their star player, they go after yours. Is that ethical? Probably not, but I think everyone should have seen that coming. Glad Chris Neil won't play against Detroit during the regular season.

You mean 4th line, right? Our 3rd/checking line of Franzen, Draper and Maltby has been pretty solid this year. I wouldn't mess with it.
