Not at the Joe, at least.

Agreed. Screw 1st place. Give us the Cup!!!!

Wings were NOT close in their first meeting. Rafalski scored late to make it not so one-sided at 4-2. That said, I'm actually pretty confident that the Wings can hold their own. Adding Moen and Huskins makes the Sharks deeper in roster and tougher, but I don't see the Wings getting pushed around.

He's not retiring.

WHY IS NOTHING HAPPENING??? I HAVE THE NHL NETWORK ON, MY LOCAL RADIO SPORTS STATION (Unlike Detroit, these guys in Buffalo actually talk hockey), AND TSN.COM's LIVE TRADE-TRACKER ON!!! I'M SITTING HERE AT WORK, WAITING... ... ...

Thanks for sharing!

I'm disgusted by it. If he'd at least thrown a punch or two... and if the first uppercut hit me, try NOT ducking down into another one!!!

That was good. As for Hossa, my friend, who is an insider into all things hockey - we'll call him Dnulke - said that Hossa will be traded to Pittsburgh for Philippe Boucher and a 5th round pick in 2011.

What a ******* *****. I really like Lillypads, but what a ******* *****. Learn to ******* fight or don't bother retaliating after Weber's chintzy elbow.

Stuart is killing me. Other than that, this stuff doesn't bother me as much as it used to. Fortunately, the Wings are done in Nashville. Both games with them are at the Joe.

Wow. Just wow.

I cannot believe the way Pavel Datsyuk is playing. He picked up the physical presence to go along with his dominant two-way game in the playoffs last year, and he just hasn't let his foot off of the gas. He was absolutely hammering people last night... I watch plenty of Sharks games, and I rarely see Doug Murray take hits where his opponent doesn't end up on his butt. Marleau and Boyle were the icing on the cake. I was in awe. I'm not sure if someone made his sandwich the wrong way for lunch, but he was a monster. He can't possibly be considered for the Lady Byng for a 4th straight year... or can he? He picked up (I believe) only his 18th penalty minute last night, but won with only 20 last year... but didn't start putting people on their asses regularly until the post-season started, which has no impact on Lady Byng consideration. Could he possibly pick up the hardware playing this way all season? While I'm much prouder of the Selke trophy that he won, the fact that he did it in conjunction with the Lady Byng really says something about the pure magnificence we're seeing from this fantastic player. I just hope he saves some of this for the playoffs. Is it possible he could take up yet another notch?

Randy and Drew are Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda, play-by-play announcer and color commentator of the San Jose Sharks, respectively. Jamie Baker is a former shark who (I believe) does the radio color commentary. The guy in the avatar is wanted for attempting to steal the Stanley Cup. If you see him, contact the authorities.
-
What else would you expect from Boston? Their fans are obnoxious, why would their announcers be any different? Don't forget that Thornton didn't miss a shift after the hit.
-
Correct. And Drew Remenda (the bald guy) is usually the same way. He has his homer Canadian moments, however, so I can picture him going berserk on the Thornton "attempt to injure" hit last night.
-
Please tell me you're kidding.

Stuart's in? Since when?

Bull. Chelios played VERY well last night, and while he's had some horrendous giveaways in other games, he hasn't played for much of the season, and appears to be hitting his stride. Babcock is finally playing him on the penalty kill regularly, which is good because after Lidstrom and Lilja, I cringe when I see Kronwall, Lebda and (not so much lately) Rafalski on the PK.

Getzlaf breaks his hand on Kopecky's hard head. Perry turtles against Hudler.
-
How dare you compare Chelios to Kopecky. You should be drawn and quartered.

That's why I love this board.
