Are you referring to PLAY-BY-PLAY ANNOUNCER Rick Jeanneret? Because my wife complains about his announcing when they score. You couldn't be referring to Harry Neale, the color COMMENTATOR... he's so mild, he's bland.

Draper, Helm and Lidstrom all score on short-handed breakaways... ... the Rangers go 0-for-1 on the power play. 3-1 Wings. Puck is behind the Red Wings' net. The battle for the puck tips the net forward, and the puck slides under the back of the net. Without a review, and no explanation, the goal counts.

If I were visiting another hockey board and found a Red Wings discussion about a Detroit player with a problem, followed by some of these posts, I'd figure I were at a St. Louis Blues forum. Shameful some of the things said here. No one hates Jordin Tootoo the player more than this guy, but I wish him nothing less than a speedy and full recovery. This is just hockey, people.

Is Babs going for the "sure win" again, like he did for the Western Canada trip? (i.e. get that win in Edmonton, and even if the Wings lose in Van, they still got 4 of 6 pts) That mentality is an interesting one... trying to stockpile some points early in the season!

You know you're on a roll when you can roll these lines and sit a healthy Patrick Eaves. I'd say sit Helm or Abdelkader just to get him in for a game, but they've been VERY solid (Fritters, especially). NICE problem to have on this team. Anyone worried about the defensive depth down the road?

Hard to argue with that. Helm's been groomed to completely replace Drapes - even being put in key face-off situations one would expect Draper to take during the past 2 seasons. Time for the kids to play!!!!

Did T. Campbell change his line-up? Was he fired? Instead of hearing "Get Ready For This" followed by Mike Myers' "The Laser!" sound effect, I heard some s***ty club music. Now I'm hearing Lady Gaga between whistles...? WTF???
