I had so much fun during the 91 season, and moved away just after the 92 season... tried to follow, but that was very hard to do in San Diego. I was younger then, so I'd probably hate the Toledo Sports Arena, so I'm glad they're getting a new facility.

Hey all. I'm looking for the Tunes by T version of "The Hockey Song". At the end of this year's wins, you'd hear: "The Red Wings Win! The Good 'ol Hockey Game!". Where can I get this version? My wife prefers "My Red Wings!" song, but I couldn't find that, either. I tried 2KHockey, to no avail. Suggestions?

Crosby and Hossa are the key to their success. They should trade MVP candidate Malkin and get back some of the 1st round picks they lost in the Hossa trade. Malkin's value went down a little in the SCF, but he's still a top 5 player.

I'd also say Brian Rafalski is more than acceptable. Talk about a great first year as a Red Wing!!!

Lang will retire and live in Chicago. Great food. I'll pass on Bert and Williams, but seeing Schneider sign elsewhere was an insult. Not as bad as Shanny leaving, but not good.

And I agree with the poster before me: the NHL has much bigger issues to address before it attempts a reconciliation with a real sports network. They're damn lucky NBC covered games 3-6. Damn lucky.

San Diego, huh? Man, 14 years in that place was too long for this Wings fan. I went to 3 games and the open practice this year, and I couldn't get enough. The hockey coverage is absolute crap in California. 15,000 fans at the Anaheim Cup parade. 'Nuff said.

Interesting. I've heard Drake called worthless so much this season, and his play in the playoffs absolutely shut everybody up. He was terrific! Like Chelios, I wouldn't mind him playing a reduced role and eventually becoming a coach to the upcoming checkers like Kopecky, Helm, Abdelkader, etc. while Cheli keeps the new defensemen learning. We have the depth and experience for a REAL shot at a repeat, gang!
