BRING IT ON, NASHVILLE!!!! It makes me sick to see their stupid fans clapping and pointing their fingers to Rock n' Roll - Part 2 (which should never be played, you pedophile supporters) and chanting "Hey! You suck", when they score a goal or win a game. This franchise simply should not exist. The Detroit Red Wings need to end their season and keep what little dignity the NHL has left thanks to the failed experiment that is the Sunbelt Expansion.

I like these runner-ups, though they still don't come close. Last year, he actually had competition. This year, there is no peer alongside Lidstrom, at least in consistency. He's been THAT good this year. -
Correct. Their defense is suspect, however, and that (not Nabokov) will be their downfall should they fail to make the WCF. I, too, can't see the Ducks going anywhere, unless Giguere uses a few more flaps here and there...

This would not be the year to say that. Same for Nabokov. Career year. If their defense is suspect, then so is ours... save for Lidstrom and Chelios. But they can't play every shift. And their offense right now is much deeper than ours. What worries me is our fourth line depth (uselessness) and secondary scoring (consistency). I agree that we would be better off only seeing one of the Sharks or Ducks and in the Conference Finals. Last year was a bad draw, for sure.

The Wings should have scored more than one goal in that game if they wanted to win it. Anytime you carry a one goal lead, you leave yourself open to exactly what happened. Playoffs always seem to work out that way. And there was NOTHING lucky about the way Anaheim handed Ottawa their asses in the SCF.
