Pretty even period. Look out for: - Ducks down low. Doing a great job forcing turnovers. Their bread-and-butter. - Both goalies look very sharp. Giguere would like to have the goal back, but looks very in control. - Very physical. Teams don't like each other. Any word on Cleary?

I am getting the Ducks broadcast on Center Ice (gag). They cue to Schneider during the "Ducks hockey is brought to you by..." and he waves and mouths "Hi, Mom! I love you, Mom." Hard to hate such a likable guy... ... is Patrick Marleau in the building?

This is very good... in theory. Markov is a solid stay-at-home defenseman, with a mean streak who played a lot with Lidstrom. Perfect for DEPTH on defense, which is what hurt the Wings the most last April. Wouldn't someone have picked him up by now if he were willing to play?

I wouldn't worry about it. They usually don't play well on the West Coast, yet swept their Western Canada swing. They have 4 points in 2 games, and no Zetterberg. A victory would be great, but I'm learning not to "expect" a win every night. That just takes the fun out of this fantastic season.

Agreed. To say that Lilja is absolutely worthless is just plain wrong. He may be slow and clumsy at times, but could you imagine how much smaller our defense gets WITHOUT him?

Not only does RWNW have to show up for this game for us who now live out east, you have to show up and get other Red Wings fans to join LGW!!! Last night's crowd in San Jose was GREAT!!! Let's show the Ducks fans what REAL hockey fans are and what REAL passion for hockey is!!! Oh, and since I won't be at the game, they'll probably win.
