And last night reminded me that we are ridiculously soft. Kris Draper goes after Mark Recchi after he hits Lidstrom. Crosby goes for Draper. No Red Wings step up. Know why? Laraque. This will be one of those years again, where the Wings won't be able to defend themselves. At least San Jose can do that. They'll be damn good this year. So will the Wings, but if I see another game like I did against Philly, I'm going to puke.

I finally have the website working on both IE and Mozilla. However, when I click the "Center Ice" button to see who's playing, I get the log-in screen. After selecting the free preview, it asks for my billing address. After entering the info, it gives me a validation error, stating that I must be physically located at my billing address. Last time, I just clicked on the "Center Ice" button and went right to the Wings game. Consider this the official troubleshooting forum. Discuss...

There were far more than 1,376 empty seats at the Joe per game last season, and you could tell just looking at it on television. We had the debate about corporations buying out tickets and people just not going.

Sounds like we're missing fight night in Buffalo. I should have gotten tickets to this game. I TRIED to get tickets for tomorrow night's game... ... I really f***ed this up. I cannot BELIEVE they're not showing any games tonight. Some "free preview".

Winged Scooter is correct. The 3rd jerseys last season were a much bigger hit than the slugs. No, half the fans are not in Ontario, but there are Sabres fans in Ontario that boo the Leafs, and that is a beautiful thing.

As a Wings fan transplanted to Buffalo (courtesy of the US Navy), let me correct you on several things: - grandeur, not grandure - you will never see a quarter of the empty seats here at HSBC Arena compared to what we've seen at the Joe (and the economy here sucks, too) not only during the regular season, but in the playoffs... at least for now. We're very lucky we've been so successful for well over a decade, and couldn't agree more about the management: Detroit's is so far superior, it isn't funny... ... again, we're very lucky. Spoiled, even.

I got off the phone with customer service, and they said they're having problems with the page I'm discussing, and that it will be brought down by game time so we can watch the games for free... hassle-free.
