This is correct. Wings really blew their chance here, and this is the perfect alibi for losing to the Ducks, who (in my opinion) have had all kinds of problems keeping up with the Wings, so long as they don't get the puck in deep or the Wings foolishly turn the puck over. The winner of this CAN beat Ottawa, but they're really beating each other up... ... does the Cup stay in the East this year again??? LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

If the NHL does nothing about the hit, then I will be pissed that nothing was done. While I agree that keeping Anaheim off the board and getting the "W" is most important, someone has got to stick up for Homer. Puck Fronger t-shirt time.

Flipper was terrific out there last night. Bertuzzi and Langer also had pretty strong games. Those three impressed me most. Dats and Z continue to impress. And Homer is the man. 'Nuff said.

That's what I'm saying. The West has blown it and the Wings have not helped. Glad I'm not the only one with any common sense. I agree almost 100%. The East usually doesn't play defense. The reason I can't fully agree is because Ottawa is shutting down the best offense in the NHL. That's gotta say something.
