I'd love to have Jerome Iginla on the Red Wings. I hate that he went after Zetterberg and Datsyuk like that at the end of the game. I also hate that we have few to no Red Wings with that kind of passion and hatred for losing. Good stuff.

The Wings just need to play smart and make adjustments as necessary. They were prepared for Game 1. Hopefully they're prepared for tomorrow's afternoon game. We all know how well they do during the afternoon games. I'm nervous, but optimistic and even more excited.

As a Red Wings fan, I am outraged that a fellow Red Wings fan would even imply that I would want Jordin Tootoo in our line-up. What the f*** is the matter with you? Tootoo held his own pretty well, actually, but definitely lost the fight with a player twice his size. The Forsberg dive was just laughable, and anyone here old enough to remember the Colorado rivalry has seen plenty of this before. The Nashville announcers are a joke. Let's see how Nashville plays at the Shark Tank.

I forgot to mention that the afternoon games and the back-to-back games (5 & 6) are definitely a greater disadvantage for the older Wings. Calgary also is scary at home. This series has barely begun.

Welcome to LGW.com. Detroit shouldn't let up at all, because I was in awe of Kipper's saves. The guy is seriously a gamer, and will continue to have success if he keeps this up. The Flames are a tough team, and Tanguay and Iginla have burned us enough times for us to realize that one game certainly does not make a series... especially this one.
