You lashed out at me because you are a dim witted dolt. You started a thread to prove that Wings fans are classier than Pens fans. In doing so you proved yourself to be both classless and clueless. The fact that you can't see the hypocrisy in that makes it even funnier. You lashed out because that is what people with limited intelligence do when they are challenged, cornered, and proven to be silly. It is far easier to freak out and swear than rephrase, recant, or reposition your faulty and hypocritical initial position. What you have actually provided proof of is that both the Penguins and the Red Wings have elements of their fan base that can be considered classless.

uh oh, we have a Rhodes Scholar on our hands here. A Pens fan kicked you out of his forum and that proves that Wings fans are classier than Pens fans (per your own words) yet, you then claim to be "not the classiest fan". That there is some grade A asinine circular logic and faulty reasoning. Im interested, are your parents blood realations?

Really, you came back in the thread with a chance to reply and you offered this? Really? There might be some evidence leading one to believe that you weren't such the innocent poster as you described (lied about). Someone offers you real and truthful advice and commentary on where you might be mistaken and you call them a douchebag and a dips***? Quality classy stuff there. So, if you act this classless, I am supposed to assume, suppose and declare that all Wings fans are classless? Did your classless trashy mouth and flying off the handle attitude cancel out the owner of LGP's classless act and make us all even again? I'm shocked you walked back in here and made such and ass out of yourself, I thought you were classier than that.

You've been cool ever since you killed Johnny Ringo.

Words that need to be banned from Hockey Vocabulary
Flintstone Cicarelli replied to MississippiWing's topic in General
"Scratch my back with a hacksaw" and" Buy Sam a drink and his dog one two" and "that takes the heat out of a hot kitchen" were mainstays of the Pens run in the 90's. I'd vote to keep them. -

"strange bounce" it happens so often it shouldn't be strange anymore. -
You only read my post as defensive because you lack the certain mental prowess it takes to seperate debate styled retorts with reactive bellyaching. Again, slow minded parsing of the real dicussion. I didn't attck your use of the word "your", I debunked and obliterated your false ideas that a) these sites belong to the posters b) that you are assigned to a site according to which team you favor. As for the "Pens fans" claim, it is pure conjecture, histrionics, and unverified claims. Or I can claim that either is as much mine or yours as the next based on membership, enrollement and or participation. As it stands neither is our forum, so we share ownership equally--zero, and membership wholley (here not at LGP). Or you could employ an ad hominem attack as you try to explain what one is. Says the guy who's very first post in this thread was bombastic, attacking, brashly generalizing, and poorly constructed.

My forums? You think this is "your forum" because you are a Red Wing fan? Last I looked it was an open forum in which the mods and site owners decide who posts here and lightly guide what they post about. Being that we are both members here, this is my forum as much as it is your, jack. I've never posted at LetsGoPens, it isn't my site. I don't know anyone who posts on the site, so the posters there aren't my friends. I, as a Pens fan, have zero responsibility in educating others on how to be a Pens fan. You might need to take a step back and figure out this whole internet thing, pal. You seem to have ownership, membership. participation, and entitlement all mixed up.

Yes, Wings fans have more class than a guy running a web forum about the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kudos. How about you aim your anger in the proper place, they guy/organization who runs the site that banned you. Instead of starting an entire thread whining about a collective group of people that had zero bearing on your posting status at Letsgopens.com, you could constructively fight the right person. BTW, last time I checked you and the other posters here don't allow or disallow anyone to post on this site. It is your gracious host that lets pens fans express themselves here. It is the not-so -gracious hosts at LGP that feels the need to ban innocent sports fans from his site.

Thank you, shoreline. This thread needed an example to depict what real trolling was.
-
Agreed. Then it should have been a dead story, not a tool to be used in a pretend argument that the kid represents the Penguins Fans in total.
-
Maybe if you read the thread, you'd see how it devolved. As it is, as it was, as it were; the entire thread is garbage to begin with. It was a trolling for reaction topic to begin with. The OP laid the groundwork with a disengenuous "I don't know if this has been posted" lure. Then he/she added an allusion to all "Pens Fans" in the thread title. Next, after the story was confirmed he/she cast a blanket assessemnt of the fan base using one kids action's as a point to project. It is nothing more than a diversion on an off-day aimed at weakly slamming another team's fans. Excuse me for playing into it for the entertainment value fo the whole thing. It isn't my fault that the takers here couldn't quite keep up.

Sorry I brought up such a scary and secret topic.
-
Yes, this debate was deep.

yawn. Who's on first? Back to the original premise. You made up a stat to pad your weak argument. Either that or you are slow. Which is it?

Detroit, Pittsburgh Both Attempting To Lose Stanley Cup, Avoid Expensi
Flintstone Cicarelli replied to Jwo's topic in General
good stuff. that being said, the most lucrative thing to do in sports is lose the stanley cup finals in 7 games. -
that could be read as any great team.

I could be long-winded again in reply to your request. Instead, I will be brief. Eat a dick. I know it is a touchy subject. I alluded to it with purpose. It is kind of odd that you hold me in contempt for counterpointing an unfouded claim (95% of Pens fans...), a ridiculous summary (Pens fans are classless because a 17 year old said...), and an off-based prediction (Pittsburgh will not have a team in 10....), with a truthfull, yet harsh, look at reality. At least I used an argument that has some truth behind it. Yea, but that is trolling.

ZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM That was the sound of the post flying right past you.

I guess you could make a case that Malone's certain departure made the team less effective looking in front of the net. I would figure it was more than that for Hossa. The cocah might have been a factor too. The casual fan wouldn't see deeper than Hossa dumping the Pens for another team and feeling betrayed. As you know, the casual fan gets quoted and repeated more than the ones who know better.

30 plus year contract with the city, new management structure, and an overall drive to be the city of champions again. The NFL success of late and the NHL success coupled with the citiy's desire to survive in general has spurred a rekindled commitment to our sports teams (except the Pirates). Now, should we discuss some of the tragic economic events and situations that have me putting a Detroit collapse as a slighly higher potential event? You do recall I was juxstaposing the safeness of the Pens tenure with detorits odds of surviving.
-
From where I sit, it was Hossa's attitude that got people riled up. He just completed a Cup run with a young and talented team that by all indication would be making many more Cup runs. Instead of seeing the potential in the team, he opted to go with a Detroit team that many feel was aging beyond the ability to make the same runs. It looked as if he traded long term success and hard work for a short-term shot at glory. Things might have been different if the Pens were a sub .500 team and he was trying to get a Cup before he retired and didn't see it happening in Pittsburgh (ala Tony Gonzales of the KC Chiefs) Now before I get shelled, this is what the perception was.
-
And we were talking about 10 years out, not 10 years back. What has transpired in the last few years that would make it a safe bet for me to say there would be a team in Pittsburgh a decade from now? I'm not surprised your inferior intellect failed to see the difference.
-
Nope, guy, no free pass for you. You failed at understading my post and now you are back peddling and hoping the "troll" smokescreen will aid your escape. Here is a tip: find the first use fo the word "auto" in this thread.
-
Do you do this for a living? Make incorrect assumptions? I guess you weren't able to pick up how I played the low hanging econo- card into the equally low hanging "if Pittsburgh can keep their team" card. My bad, I overestimated your ability to decipher the tone and mode of my post. As I said, baby steps for you.
