I was watching one game this post season (don't remember which) but it wass in the first round and the commentator said that the nhl had already set a record for most too many men on the ice calls for an entire post season. In one round!

Not out at all, Jimmy is gonna be lights out next game. He had two games where he gave up 4 to phx and he rebounded. I'm expecting him to do the same here. As much as it pains me to bring it up we should all be able to recall last year's finals. Idk whose quote it is, but i'm sure most of us have heard it, "it's not a series until the away team wins a game" (i wouldn't say that's verbatum tho)

Now look at it from Williams point of view. If he plays well and hte wings win maybe he keeps his spot in the lineup when eaves gets healthy.

The good thing about this is it tells the wings bottom six that their spot is not secure. They have to play hard and well to make the line-up next game. The "friendly" competition is gonna be good i think/hope.

That's what i thought about earlier today when i thought about the wings game. I'm not worried at all. It seems the games that PHX won last series was due in part to a failure on special teams. Again tonight taht helped the wings lose. Not to mention the giving up 3 goals right away. Wings play well and i think they'll win and can go to the cup (hopefullY)

One problem i have with that article is when he talks offense. He talks about how Datsyuk and Zetterberg are gonna be a handful defensively but i don't recall him mentioning anything of their offensive ability. Datsyuk and Zetterberg don't jsut play defense and it's not like SJ is gonna change so taht thornton and pavelski are just playing offense cuz that's just a rediculous concept. So my question is, Are SJ's top two lines gonna be good enough defensively to keep the wings top two off the board? My thoughts would be no Oh also, i find it hard to believe a healthy dany heatly is on the third line

I love zuccs. He's awesome, I watched him play in the Olympics and also noticed how much i heard his name. I hope he didn't sign with the rangers, even tho i think he did. But I'm hoping for the best.

I would love to see Ozzie's retired. However, i don't think it will happen, and i'm not sure that it deserves to be done either. Don't get me wrong he was a great goalie here, I just don't think he's one of the greats.

I haven't been able to watch any wings games yet this year beacuse i don't get FSN Detroit or even VS at my school. So i was wondering how Eaves has looked. I was excited they signed him, so hopeFully he lives up to my expectations
