hossa has been strugglin in the playoffs, BUT he did help get the game 7 in detroit with his work in the regular season. i for one want to re sign him. remember when dats struggled in the playoffs early in his career. i have no worries, regardless of how hossa plays, i'm confident the rest of teh wings will be there to decide it. Hossa will be there to play.

I turned the tv on and went to ESPN and Barry Melsrose comes on within five minutes. Wearing a gold and black tie, he and whoever was representing ESPN (some girl i've never seen before) were talkin ALL about pitt. what pitt has to do to win, how crummy they've been playin, how bad crosby has been. nothing about the wings d shutting them down or anything about the wings at all. They even brought up the fact that the wings are older and the penguins can wear them down. It's almost as if Detroit being up 3-2 is a fluke. it's soooo annoying. anyone else see it? Oh and they said, "hopefully pitt doesn't like to lose and will win tonight." Not too descrete huh

naw it didnt' show that on t.v. and i'm not too worried about it, just annoyed how everything is so pro penguins. even last year, "oh malkin had the flu" it wasn't the fact that detroit shut him down like they are crosby this year. and you're right on the hockey fan tho, cuz whenever the wings aren't in it i always want it to go 7

it comes down to four for me: You got franzen and zetterberg with the career long deals, those are both solid choices. I would also look at datsyuk, cuz he's amazing, and kronwall cuz he eats people alive

i don't like the 3 defense men trophy thing either. i could do with an offensive defenseman award, and the norris. that way mike green gets recongized as well as someone like lids. i mean maybe we all feel that way cuz green is gonna most likely beat out lids this year. which i hope lids retains it. but other than that i can't really think of anything else i'd like added.

i think these are fair descriptive words, i think they are a necessity. its just hockey talk. And i think if a lot of these words were eliminated the broadcast just wouldn't be as fun. i mean i personally dislike the word parafanlia (spelling?). but if doc stops sayin that word he'll just come up with something else that bothers me. i don't mind the words so much as the anti-wings and pro-pens speech.

The thing i find wrong is the comparing malkin to j.s. j.s. was a force. he stopped everything. he surprised everyone by sweeping detroit. malkin hasn't had that kind of upset to be credited to him. i personally, would put Ozzie at the top followed by Z, if the wings pull it out i mean

Dumbest thing i've ever read. You realize taht that would be GAME 7 of the stanley cup finals. there are no blow outs in game 7 of the finals, that's ridiculous. Both teams would be playing harder than ever. my dad always use to say to me, "play like it's game 7 of the scf"
