I know a lot of people were mentioning the Nyquist/Andersson/Dekeyser/Lashoff journey, but how about the journey of Petr Mrazek. Watching him play it's tough to remember this is his first year pro. Seems like last year he was playing those games in the ECHL not this year. Dude had some unbelievable saves at the end of game 6.

Idk, I'm not disagreeing with you, but not exactly agreeing with you. I'm on the fence I guess. I definitely see your point and it's a completely valid one. But where I struggle to agree with you is if you have a player who gets a career ending injuring it's tough to say that it should count against that team. However this would only apply to 35+ contracts so it's kind of like sign a player at your own risk. Idk, it's just a tough call. Idk if you can go on a case to case basis, because this one wasn't a great contract to begin with. Didn't he sign like 2 days after he turned 35? What a screw up that was, if that's the case

I'd be perfectly content having Eaves - Helm - Miller out against Toews' line. Emmerton not so much, but with helm in Emmerton is clearly the odd man out.

As he said though, if Helm can take on Toews that means Z is not out against a good defensive player in toews and can worry more about scoring than shutting down Toews.

Completely agree. Although their track record wasn't great when they went with two blackhawks two years in a row. It's not so much the blackhawks as it is a player from the same team.
