Hossa!!

One of the biggest things that i love about hockey is that a lot of people dont just have "their team" I know lots of people that follow a handful of other teams and thats what makes this sport so awesome.

Fortunately it's up to Ken Holland and a few select others. We'll re-sign Hossa, have some cap space, and still have the perfect team for next year. I'm not worried.

You know, even being a pens fan myself, i'm starting to ask myself the same thing.. the word "class" has seem to have gone down the drain to half the league it seems. It's a sad, sad state of hockey.

We've all seen Hossa say he'd take less, I've read nothing but good things said from other players even people like Holland and Babcock about Hossa, and a 6 mil or less a year cap for a multi year deal? That'd be a steal.

I am a pens fan (I live in Michigan, I was raised on the wings, and will ALWAYS be wings first) but i am signed up to the pens forum and they are a-holes. You aren't missing anything if you cant view the forum. They're either talking about you, or trashing the wings. What a classy set of "fans," huh? Thats what i love about Detroit. We keep it real. It could also be an IPS or whatever board error that every NHL board seems to be getting lately. Every server seems to be getting thrown at with a bunch of traffic so hitting refresh a lot may have to be what you do.

I know, right? I've been posting over at the hockeytown board forever boasting my love for Hossa and i figured i'd finally come over here and do it. As my first post i'd like to say that this man is our next contract signing, at least seven years for 5 mil a year, and CAN quote me on that. Everyone forgets that he was the leading goalscorer in the regular season now all over the place you hear about how the guy is a choke artist. EVery athlete has problems scoring in spurts, when he's not scoring, he's creating opportunities, and this guy is something Holland will not give up on. Bet that.
