Yeah, I did not watch the first goal so I do not know what happened but except for the 4th goal, which was a super mistake by the defense, Osgood had to have 2nd and 3rd goal. Although 2nd goal was a bit of screening, Osgood had to make that save. 3rd goal was all his fault, terrible rebound control. There is a still long way to go and it is only the first game but Osgood showed the indicaton of his poor performance at the start of the season last year. Hopefully that trend does not occur this year.

I do not think we played bad in the first period and till the mid of the 2nd period. But like the last season, since we allowed a PK goal from Kariya, the Wings look almost like a high school team in the defensive zone and got knocked down. Besides, Stuart was still awful while Kronwall looked a bit better, and Osgood was not in his game.

In a way, Osgood had to make that save although Stuart and Flipplua were screening. But whatever.. we are still leading so no panic

I am almost a beginner in MLB since I have been in Canada for only few years as a status of foreigner. Just as I become intersted in MLB, I just wonder which you guys will win the MLB this season. So far I heard, AL is superior over NL and as the tradition continues, the one league did not win the back to back championship many times throughout the history. Even though the playoff match up is not set, I just want to hear some good opinions from people who have much knowledge of baseball or even just a fan. Thank you
